This is supposed to be Ward Canaday’s jeep. It does appear to have some rust.
“This is Ward Canaday’s Jeep. He was President of Willys/Overland during WWII and considered the Father of the Jeep. It’s a mostly original unmolested 1953 CJ3A wich runs great. It’s still runs on the 6 volt system and I’ve replaced the windshield, muffler and rebuilt the carb.”
UPDATE: This has been reposted at a higher price.
(02/25/2023) Looks like there could be some value here.

“Early cj2a tub, grill, tail gate, 2 hoods, windshield frame, extra dash cowl assembly, and 2 seat frames. Tub is actually pretty solid sans the normal floor spots. Selling for a friend of mine. $500 obo. Will have a matching stripped cj2a frame available (no drive train or axles) and another complete tub and stripped frame (same as above) available in a week or so for additional. Would be willing to make a “whole lot” deal.”
Andy shared this find, which was previously listed in 2019. It’s an M-38A1 with an extended rear. We’ve seen a few of these over the years, but I don’t have much history about them. The half top looks like a sears branded one.

“This is not a CJ6! This is extend behind the rear wheel like a scrambler. It is a super rare military Jeep that even most military Jeep enthusiasts know nothing about. I put the cj5 half cab on it but it can be easily removed. The engine ran but hasn’t for years now. The floorboards were very rusted and have been cut out to be replaced. I have a military tub with great flooring to go with it that needs to be welded in. This would be a great project that would be well worth the effort because of the rarity of this Jeep. Call me at 54zero 66four39two 3 and I can give you more info about it. Last picture is of another one like it”
TJ shared this plow from a CJ-7. Seems a reasonable price.

“Came off of a CJ7, bought it to put on my CJ7, but won’t work on my Jeep due to modifications I have done to my Jeep. Everything is there aside from the controller, previous owner couldn’t find it, but they are available from Meyer. It’s loaded on my trailer and willing to deliver within reasonable distance for fair compensation.”
It’s rough, but it looks to be a GPW tub.
