“Rare chance to own a piece of Jeep Willy’s history! You don’t see these very often. Here what may be your only chance to own the coolest truck in town! I’m Selling this 1960 Jeep willys FC-170. It is not a FC-150 with the short bed, this is the 3/4 ton with a 9’ bed. This particular truck used to be a hooker/ tow truck at some point. Very good patina. Not as rusty as you may think. I have 10 of them and this is one of my better ones. Very solid bones. No motor or trans. CLEAN TITLE IN HAND Not interested in trades. $6000 cash only Located in Grand County, Co. Can deliver anywhere for fair price.”
There seems to be some value here.

“Willys Jeep parts M38 style with some differences. Tailgate has all reinforcements but never had holes drilled to mount the tire or gas can. Grill has military and civilian features. I think this may have been a DJ when Willys built it, they often used up leftover and over run parts for the DJ’s.
The one large section of transmission cover pictured has been sold.
M38 hood has been sold, now includes a Willys stamped hood in fair condition.
$450 for all or message for individual parts.”

The lower floor was replaced due to rust under the fuel tank. I have pretty much everything except for a new fuel tank, which rusted out, and the under seat tool box for the new floor.
I have personally owned this for over 45 years and unfortunately must now sell.”

“Willy’s jeep 2L head motor one stuck other one ran 2 thousand a fair price”
I ran across these rare brochure on eBay. They aren’t in the best of shape, but better than nothing!
The first one became effective April 1, 1950, for The Willys Station Wagon and The Willys Jeepster. It is a simple four-page brochure with a choice of six palettes.
The second brochure does not include the Jeepster. This 1951 brochure gives a branding name to each color choice: Jamaica, Grand Canyon, and Caribbean. Note that this four-page brochure includes the Willys Makes Sense slogan from the Willys Makes Sense campaign the company implemented across it’s adverting in 1951:
