MIDWEST FC UPDATE:
Roger shared some more photos from last weeks Midwest FC event. Roger tells me he was able to sell four of the six windshields he had available. He also wanted to thank everyone that came and contributed by coming…especially those who came a long distance. There were FC’ers from Florida, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Maryland, Tennessee, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Roger also awarded Wayne and Sally Trent the furthest-traveler award … all the way from Hudson, Florida to the Southwest Ohio FC Gathering July 26-28. His haul rig was a ’53 Ford Cab with a Freightliner front axle and Cummins engine. His trailer carried a pop-up camper and the FC 170 Wrecker. Here are some photos of it:
Johnny had some skills back in the day!
“1947 Press Photo Johnny Price of Indians Catches Flies Upside Down in a Jeep
This is an original press photo. Johnny Price, Cleveland Indians comedian, demonstrates, with the aid of a jeep, how the outfielder of 1950 will chase flies–even while upside down. Price showed how before exhibition game between Indians and New York Giants at Tucson, Arizona.Photo measures 9 x 7.25inches. Photo is dated 03-15-1947.”

“Greetings, you are bidding on my 1958 Willys Forward Control 170 pick up. First, I know very little about anything mechanical, I bought this jeep out of a jeep collection in Houston, Texas. I have owned it for approx. one year. It has seen light work on my farm and was running fine until I decided to replace the points, distributor, spark plug wires, etc. It has not run since, my jeep friends seem to think the points are not set correctly. I don’t have the time to mess with it and more and it is taking up space in my barn. Tires are non-directional military and have good trend left gas gauge and heat gauge have never worked. Headlight, taillights and blinkers work, heater works.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
Runs and drives.
“Hi guys, I’ve got an awesome 46′ Willys Jeep for sale along with a trailer to match it. Runs perfect, 4 wheel drive works great. Manual Transmission. Body is little rough but nothing that can’t be fixed or painted. Would be an awesome project. But is still good for what it is. Also have a 4×5 trailer to go along with the deal. Perfect little trailer to haul stuff around the farm. Both are in great working condition but with a little work both could be a nice collectors piece. Bill of sale only on both.”
Has some updates.

Mike added the following information about this flattie: I live close by to this Jeep and know the owner. He has a full page of mechanical work, body and paint, all completed in 2012. He is retired and has replaced this one with a Wrangler. It runs great, looks great, mostly original. PTO, winch, period style heater, comes with a nice soft top. I missed buying it because I was about halfway done with mine before I saw this one.

“48 Willys Jeep No Title-Needs points-All 4 wd works-Calls only No texts”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
This has been repowered with a Willys motor.
“Cute little classic farm crawler tractor / dozer. I believe this is an Oliver OC-3-42 42” gauge tractor, probably late 1940’s or early 50’s. As I understand it, the Celtrac HG & Oliver OC-3 are the same tractor, so it could be either. This one has been rengined with a Willy’s Jeep flathead 4 cylinder gas motor. The tractor starts and runs well (12 volt) and all gears work as do both steering clutches. The sheet metal is in decent shape although the bottom section of the grill appears to have been cut off.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
Not sure if it runs.

Just let me know what you have and text a pic. I do not have a title on the Willys but will provide a bill of sale so that a title 42 can be obtained.
I am willing to part out the Jeep itself, the front a rear axles are in decent shape, and it also has the transmission but I do not know its condition.”
