Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For Sale is a 1953 Willy’s CJ-3B. It is not totally original. Hood and tailgate are aftermarket. Engine is a L-Head. I have had the vehicle for many years with the intention of restoring it. The Jeep is titled in NC and runs good. This was a project vehicle and I have well over $4200.00 invested. The Jeep has new wiring, tires, pressure plate, clutch, shocks, brakes, master cylinder and lines, gas tank, drive shafts, yokes, seals, gauges, tail lights and much more. The body is in good condition for the age with some areas of rust. The manual lockout 4WD is absolutely awesome. The engine is very strong.”

One of the Rarest Jeeps Made
Up for auction is my 1971 Hurst Jeepster Commando. I purchased this 5 years ago with plans to do a frame up restore, but unfortunately have not had the time to begin the restoration. My loss, your gain.
I have not attempted to start the motor, but the previous owner stated that it will run. I have no reason to think otherwise.
Vehicle has all emblems, special build tags, and Hurst options.
Shouldn’t take much to get it back on the road, or restore as an investment.

1944 CJ2A, bought this a year ago to restore but just cant get the time because of traveling for work. I have two engines for it one will rotate the other I purchased for the accessories and the Supersonic head that was on it. Pretty Firm on the Cash price but am willing to maybe trade for hunting tools. Just let me know what you have and text a pic.
