Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1967 Jeep CJ6-A Half-cab – A rare vehicle- very few made. Buick V-6 engine (probably the original motor). Exact mileage unknown, but motor is very strong. 3-speed transmission, tight clutch. Low geared – great for off-road – but does well at hi-way speeds. New brakes and lines. Many other new parts. CLEAN TITLE.
Needs new battery, but starts and runs when jump-started. Speedometer and temp gauge work, but most others don’t. Horn, windshield wiper, and all lights work.
Yes, it does have rust – it’s a 1967 and worked hard all it’s life before I got it. Has flat black primer on it now. Can send more pics upon request. “
It’s a project.
“It is a 1946 Jeep Willy’s powered by the reliable 134 cubic inch, 60 horsepower “Go-Devil” engine. It is at the point to where it could be restored to original or made into a modern Jeep. The only thing that has been updated on it so far is a 1.5″ shackle lift and a cushioned tractor seat. The stock wheels do come with it and the original gauges were pulled out of it, but do go with it as well.
It still has the original 6 volt system and purrs like a kitten when running. For being 68 years old it is in really good shape and a piece of American history. There has been some body panels welded into it at some point in its life, but the way it sits is the way it was when I purchased it. The only thing body wise that I have done to it is re-primer it since it sat out side for a few years and had surface rust. Transmission, transfer case and axles are all fine and work good, but there is no top with it.
I have researched online and Willys Jeeps in about the same condition is going for atleast $1000 more, so I feel this is a fair price for it. If you are looking for a project to restore or modernize and drive, this is the Jeep for you.”

“’51 Willys Wagon radials, with full size spare, chains. have jerry can n spare carrier for rear bumper, tow bar for front, drive train rebuilt, include m21 muncie, dana60 posi rear, 10 bolt front, 4:88s. Chevy 350 stock w/HEI and carter, aprox original 69k miles on motor, no rebuild. This was my hunting rig, its not a show truck, super fun 4×4, I dont hunt anymore. “Selling this Willys CJ2A Jeep for parts or restoration. It is missing parts but may be a good start on a WWll Jeep project. Look at the photos and ask any questions. There is no title and rarely is on old jeeps. It will come as is . . I just don’t have time for it. It’s not running but rolls freely. Someone put a v-6 in it but the trans is original. I know very little else about it. Thanks for looking.”

“completely solid MC M38 Army jeep, not a look alike. these were the direct decedent of the MB WWII JEEP, used during the Korean War and Vietnam, they were replaced by the M38A1 and M151. converted to 12volt. many new parts with mild restoration. runs drives great. you will see many willys for sale out there, but this is the real deal. $10500 cash or possible partial trade for something equally as cool. Bill of sale only as Georgia does not issue titles for vehicles this old, it is licensed and insured in my name. NO CARS, NO JUNK.”

“This is a clean project truck that my dad has had for about 6 years. Clean Title and Current CA registration. He sourced it from J&W Jeep in Antelope CA and they in turn hunted it down in the high Northern deserts of Nevada. This truck is in amazing shape for its history and age. Was used for years at a small airstrip for fuel delivery. We have had it running and driving. A good once over on the fluids, charge the battery and she should come to life again. My dead owns 2 of these and realized that he doesn’t need 2. Brakes need some attention. Will assist with shipping and international buyers.”

“1963 Jeep cj5 with inline-6 ford falcon motor, t90 3 speed transmission and twin stick dana18 transfercase. the motor was completely rebuilt, new warn locking hubs, new master cylinder, remanufactured holley 1904 carburetor, rear seat, and some other little stuff, 32×12.5 tires. The jeep doesn’t look like much, soft top is rough so it definitely needs some work cosmetically but as far as running goes it starts right up and runs great so you can fix it up if you want or just have fun with it as it is. ”

-I rewired it with a small fuse block, new gauges, all lights work
– the brakes have been completely redone with new hard lines and steel braided lines, pads, brake cylinders, drums..
– now has Tacoma bucket seats that I have yet to mount
– it needs a new front locking hub on the passenger side and steering linkage gone through, the steering has play”
