“Super rare CJ3B, with brand new freshly rebuilt F-134 motor with less than 1000 miles on it. Smooth shifting T-90 3 speed manual Transmission was rebuilt along with new clutch and throw out bearing at the same time and I have receipts for all of it. Includes Warn overdrive so it’ll do 70 on the freeway all day… Brake shoes on all 4 corners. New Exhaust, Fresh paint with rhino lined interior. All new front end bushings with new bell crank, drag link, and Saginaw Steering Box so no willys wobble and steers very straight and nice. Almost new 33″ BF Goodrich all terrain T/A’s with at least 80% tread left on them. Converted to 12 volt, turn signals, lights and all gauges work perfectly!!! New correct steering wheel, off road seat belts, original gauges, Military Style Tow Hitch, original drive train including the T-90 3 speed transmission, Warn Overdrive, Dana 18 Transfer Case, Dana 25 Front Axle, Dana 44 Rear Axle and perfect running F-134 Hurricane engine. This thing starts and stops perfect!!! Previously was a forest service jeep then owned by a mechanic so you know it’s solid. Also spent it’s life out in the mountains and desert so it’s nice and dry with zero rust or rot!!!
Daily Driver that needs nothing to hop in and go!!! Clean title pink in hand, currently registered until July 2015.”

“1944 Willy’s Jeep. Body in fair condition drive train in excellent condition, runs great it does have a Chevy Iron Duke 4 cylinder engine, which is a common replacement for the flat head 4 cylinder engine that it came with and is easier to get parts. It is Titled and ready to up on the Mesa Monument or where ever you take it. This Jeep is a Military Jeep and is not geared for highway driving. Reasonable offers will be considered.”

(05/14/2012) Normally I think flatties that are stretched in the middle look a little odd. However, this looks to me like a stretch well done. I like the price on this too.

“Considering selling this freshly built classic because it draws more attention than I have ever expected. I can’t go anywhere without people drooling, wanting to talk about it, or following me to get a picture of it. If your the type of person that enjoys interacting with strangers as they envy your ride then this is for you. Everything is brand new or rebuilt from frame off and has less than 200 miles on it since finished. Details as follows:
This may be a good project.

“2 WD wagon with a Ford 302 V8. Has an Edelbrock intake cam and lifter combo high performance kit from Summit Racing. Brand new heads and a Holley 650 4 barrel carb. With K&N stack air filter. Has a new C4 transmission with shift kit and B&M hammer shifter. Ford 9 inch posse track rearend. Had this thing in high school and has been parked for the past 16 years and don’t know enough about mechanics to get it running again (ran great when I parked it ) nor do I have the time since i live in western WA now. I’m sure a mechanic would love this as a restore project! My loss is your gain. Asking $1000.00 just so I don’t have to try and tow it here 200 miles.”

“This old military version of the CJ, an MB, has been an incredibly dependable off road warrior for the family for over 30 years. Our 24 yr old daughter learned to drive in it. As the photos show, it has seen better times cosmetically, but the ol’ girl is as capable and reliable as ever. Posi in the front with limited slip in the rear, dual lever transfer case, power saginaw steering, CB, Chey 327 engine, runs strong, always cool with huge old Cadillac radiator, Warn hubs, new brakes all the way around, lots of rubber. Solid Half doors, Heavy tow bar. An old style performer. Restore or drive as is.”

“This is a project. It is not a minor project. You want it or you don’t. It will be a labor of love. You can see there is rust. What you see is what you get. Sorry couldn’t get the passenger side.”
With all the great weather, we’ve managed to sneak in a few camping trips. We were really roughing it in Ann’s mother’s new motorhome. Yes, we left her mother behind so we could enjoy some quite time.
Early last week we made the two hour drive to the Ohanapecosh Campground at Mt. Rainier. Here are some photos from that trip.
A couple days ago we drove from Pasco to Red Bridge Wayside State Park. Red Bridge is one of five northeast Oregon state wayside parks that are well kept and inexpensive places to stay. Of the twenty spots available, only three were taken. So we had a very quiet stay. However, somehow we didn’t get any photos of the campground.
We did find a horseshoe pit, but lacking horseshoes we turned to frisbees.
I wonder if the plastic glue every became a commercial product.
