(11/08/2012) “I have a rare 1948 Willys delivery wagon for sale. This is one cool street rod / hot rod ! Body is sitting on a S-10 chassis from a 1994 4×4 Blazer. Vehicle is powered by a 4.3 Liter Vortec GM engine, fuel injected, Howell wiring harness, 4L60e automatic 4 speed transmission with overdrive, and new 32″ Hankook MT tires, auto meter gauges, etc. I have approx. 1800 miles on it since building it last winter. It drives and runs great. Straight and true.”

“Just out of 20 year storage. Has been converted to 350/350 with 10 bolt rear end. Power brakes. I did get it running but does need some brake work( I have new wheel cylinders on the way). Will drive onto a trailer.
Body is as good as they come, no rust, super solid. Complete. Top and side curtains. Has power front seats that work. I also have original front seats. You could make this a driver very easy, or do a full restoration. Clean Title with both original plates. CA from new.”

(05/28/2013) This appears in good shape.
“I’ve owned this jeep for the most of 15 years but am losing my storage. It has less than 2000 miles since it has been overhauled including the motor, drive train, brakes, gauges. The only time it gets driven is for parades. It still has the 24 volt electrical system. The carburetor needs a little TLC because I usually only run it in parades so it will need a little cleaning. The lights are all hooked up but not working. I’m asking $8500.00 or best reasonable offer. Included in this price is a complete canvas top that is in excellent condition including side doors. I’m not sure if it has ever been used.

“1947 split window willys jeep with hardtop and doors, motor was overhauled 3k miles ago, runs excellent, 4×4 works, brakes are a little weak but they work, overall excellent condition for its age.”

(05/14/2014) This has a 4-speed and a hydraulic lift. Doesn’t sound like it runs.
“1964 Willys Jeep FC 150 was originally a flatbed truck. This truck had a very limited production in only nine years. It was not even listed in NADA guide books, they had never heard of it! They are now adding it to their 2014 September model update. They were originally built on the same frame as the CJ 5 so it has a wheelbase of only 81″. This truck also has a rare hydraulic lift for the bed and the rear counter weight which is also rare. It has a Hurricane 4 engine which is stuck from sitting, but has been soaking in Marvel Mystery oil. It has a 4-speed Borg-Warner T-98 manual transmission. The front axle is a Dana 27 and the rear is a Dana 44. Does it have rust? Yes, it is a 1964 so it has rust in the typical places, but this truck still exists. These trucks are becoming harder and harder to find. “

(04/29/2014) This has an old school feel. This may be a MB or GPW body/chassis. Note the hubs on the rear. What’s really interesting is the reshaped entrances for drive and passenger. It’s well done and gives the jeep a slightly different look.
“Bought this Willys to restore but have decided it is too much of a project for me. It is either a 2A or 3A (year and model unknown since no identification on body or frame and no title). It has a modified body, roll cage, frame and axles. Has a raised hood with one rust spot and lots of bondo (probably part of conversion to V8) and modified steering.
I installed used tires since the pictures were taken so I can roll it around. It can be used for parts or rebuilt. Looks like it had a Chevy v8 in it at one time. It has surface rust but metal seems solid (several holes have been cut into the floor and inner front fender wells for unknown reasons).
You may notice the rear axle is really a front axle installed in reverse (reason unknown) and pictures also show a Dana 18 transfer case (it has a hole in the side so case is not useable).
It appears to have re-arched springs to give it a 2-3 inch lift.
Asking $450 with wheels and tires (tires have minimum tread) or $350 without wheels and tires.Jeep is located in Helendale. I can deliver within local area (for a price) if necessary. No title, bill of sale only.

Most of you are familiar with Paul’s stainless M-38 project that’s going on its 26th (?) year (He’s almost done). However, according to the City of Miami, the project is roaming the streets of Florida. I’ll let Paul explain.
For many years my friends have been asking me when the stainless Willys would be back on the road. Thru the years I tried to offer an accurate estimate of when I thought (or hoped) the Willys would be back together but as each deadline passed I realized my completion plans were wildly optimistic. Until today.
I just received official notice from the United States Post Office that not only is my Willys runnable, but during the first week of May 2014 my Jeep was cruising southbound on Biscayne Boulevard in Florida!
How cool is that? I feel like a putz, I had no idea I was finished with my long term rebuild but I can live with that. What really bothers me is my Willys went cruising without me, geeze after all I’ve done for my Jeep I’m quickly cast aside like a used kleenex when it’s time to play. Unfortunately my Willys had a bit too much fun and ended up running a red light. I know things happen and all that but now the city of North Miami wants me to send them $158.00 just because my little Willys turned renegade. There’s even an official photo recording this illegal event. Zowie!

And best of all the official driving infraction photo doesn’t show a Willys, the vehicle isn’t green (the old body color was OD but the local DMV called it green) and the license photo shows a different license plate design that what’s on my Willys so what’s an owner to do? I feel so cheap and used. I gave this Willys the best years of my life, I ate the cheap cuts of macaroni so I could purchase the parts necessary for rebuilding my Jeep, I stayed late in the garage ignoring friends just so I could have quality time with my Willys and this is what I get? My innocent Willys has turned Renegade and left me for a good time in sunny Florida so here I sit staring out the window watching fresh snow being deposited on the mountains!
My heart is broken, I’ll never be able to trust my Willys again. Yes I heard the often repeated stories about how your Willys will turn on you, how the good times will roll until someone better comes along but I didn’t believe this. I told my friends my Willys was different, my Willys is loyal and my Willys would never get into trouble. I’m so ashamed my Willys is like all the rest, just out for a good time and forget about everything else.
A word of warning to all who read these words…
Your Willys will get you into trouble!
