“I have a 1950 Willys m38 jeep. This is former Korean war era jeep, known to have the better stronger drivetrain of the flat fender jeeps. The body tub is very rusty & the engine is stuck, but it has a lot of useful parts. Would make a great mud bogger or farm jeep. clear title.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1395.
Blaine spotted this rare boat with a Willys motor.
“I found this beauty under a tree on my little old lady neighbor’s farm. COMPLETE, no parts missing, last running smooth in the water in 1998. Then her owner died, and his wife just pulled a tarp over her.
When I first saw this truck, I thought for sure it would have an updated motor.

(07/15/2009) “1960 Jeep Willys CJ3B. Bought in 2003. Rebuilt engine and transmission. Kept it all like stock. Cost me 2759.09, Still have receipt. Not more than 250 miles on the rebuild. Has not been run in years and a couple of years ago I filled the cylinders with transmission fluid as there might have been a bit of water that got in from the top through the air filter.
Body is that of an old jeep, some rust. Has a tow hitch on it. Has a gas can holder on it. I have a soft top/ doors. Has some diamond plate on interior sides and floor. Ski holders. Great classic jeep and a kick to drive! Please call me at (9 seven 0) – 37 nine – 7 two five 8 ( numbers are written to protect me from spam) ”

“Up for sale is a 1962 Willys CJ3B. Barn Stored.
The truck is a friend’s fathers who put the truck away at least 25 years ago untouched in his spare barn. The truck had a piece of plywood and tarp over the roll bar to prevent anything from dripping or falling on top of it. He was also a mechanic.
It has been removed from the barn and is looking for a good home.
Ann and I had a ‘date night’ Tuesday night, so I didn’t get anything done.
Early Friday morning I plan to head for Portland where I’ll drop by the MVPA convention. I’ll spend a few hours there and then head north (via Herm’s place if he’s around — still have to call him). I’ll be in Seattle for at least a week. During the first week of August I’ll be dropping by the FC Event in Tacoma.
I’m half done tightening up the book (have dropped about twenty pages) and cleaned up bad transitions, dealt with a few logic problems, and fixed a variety of errors.
Marc found this photo of Santa I hadn’t seen.
“An International News photo showing Santa Claus arriving at Camp Carson, Co. Instead of a sleigh with reindeer, he comes in an Army jeep. Dated 12-22-43. Copyright stamp and typed description on back. 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ size. Good condition with no tears or losses. Crinkling on top and bottom edges.”

“19 Pages. Good condition.”
Here’s a neat combo that Steve spotted.
“1952 Military Jeep Trailer with Onan 5K Generator. This unit kept my house running for three weeks after Super Storm Sandy struck. Ran everything in my house. It struggled with the electric dryer. The generator is made to last forever. Electric start and even has a hand crank for an emergency. Large fuel tank was nice because it would run all day on one tank full and then all night on another tank full of gas. The trailer is solid with no rust. Tires are in good condition. I built a canopy to keep the rain and snow out and it is easily removed. There are multiple 110 outlets around the trailer and one 240/30 amp to connect to my house. There is also a circuit panel. The trailer was garage kept from 1952 to 2009. Contact Martin @ 908-50seven-054five.”
