I don’t think duct tape and bailing wire can save this jeep. I found the picture at the army airforce site. There are some other jeep photos as well.

Vintage Metal FC Toy on eBay
How about this neat old FC Toy?
“Vintage Jeep toy. I think this would be a great toy for someone looking to start collecting, or someone who likes to fix vintage toys up. I have a bunch listed.”
Wyandotte Tin Jeep and Trailer on eBay
This may be a rare toy. I didn’t find any references to it on the CJ-3B Page or anywhere else. Wyandotte was a brand name used by the All Metal Products company out of Wyandotte, Michigan.
“This vintage tin toy jeep and trailer is made of heavy sheet steel and resembles a real WW II jeep. The windshield will fold down flat and the hood raises. It has a spare tire. There is a small hole on the right rear side that you could bolt the spare on. It is marked Willys on the front bumper and the windshield frame. Each tire is marked WYANDOTTE TOYS MADE IN U.S.A. This is a good sized toy. The jeep is 11″ long, 5″ wide, and 5 5/8″ high with the windshield up. The trailer is 10 1/2″ long, 4 1/2″ wide and 3 3/4″ high. The wheels all turn and are made of rubber. The tailgate on the trailer opens and closes.
It has some spotty surface rust but is still solid. The hitch is missing from under the jeep. I would have made one for it but have not found a picture of one. It should be about 1 1/2″ long with a hole in it and attaches with a single bolt.”

1961 CJ-5 Grand Junction, CO **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000
“1961 Jeep Willies, $1000 FIRM
Rough condition, needs restored or good for hunting truck
I bought 3 yrs ago as a project and it has sat.
Overheated and radiator has a leak now. Otherwise started easily and ran well.
Would not reccommend trying to start without a tune up. IE, purge old tarnished gas, new oil and filter changes. etc.
4×4 works perfectly. transmission, transfer case, differentials all work perfectly.
as far as I can tell all original equipment, eng, trans, transfer case and differentials.
These facts alone make it worth a grand in the condition it is currently in.
If you dont know this dont bother responding. No lowball offers.
$1000 is a fair and honest price and my bottom line.
I have not started it since it overheated. I am confident w some love, a thermostat and some attention itll run great.
Tires hold air and have low tread but are road worthy.
Of course it has rust. mostly surface. frame is solid. some rust to body mounts. should repair easily.”
1947 CJ-2A San Diego, CA **SOLD**

Bantam Jeep Festival: The Joys & Hazards of Buying a Vintage Jeep
The folks at the Bantam Jeep Festival have asked me to participate in this year’s history series. I will be presenting “The Joys & Hazards of Buying a Vintage Jeep”, appearing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with an official book(s) signing following each event. I don’t know the times just yet.
I shared this news with Paul and he responded with some words of wisdom for potential buyers of vintage jeeps. He wrote:
Please remember that sometimes a free Jeep is still too expensive. Normal people just don’t realize how much money, time and space a disassembled Jeep can suck up. Many clueless males have sadly discovered just how quickly Breaking Up Is Easy (not hard) To Do after becoming the owner of a project Jeep. Don’t even get me started on relationship problems after the Jeep is finished, just be ready for the “Why can’t my car be parked in the garage” vintage whine which is soon followed the always popular “I’m cold and rain soaked, why doesn’t this thing have a top” snivel. For a single guy taking a date out in a vintage Jeep will become an educational experience so long as no police are involved. Many women simply don’t understand that a Jeep really does have shock absorbers, it’s just that they are called passengers. Also a women with a sense of humor and adventure is mandatory to make it thru those events that seem like a good idea at the time and will provide many hours of crazy stories in the future for the grandkids but only if everyone survives.
I simply can’t argue with any of that!
On the BOOK 2 front, after writing all day I completed Draft 2 this evening. The book is approx 450 pages, when properly formatted. Ann is sitting next to me gleefully and busily bruising this draft with a red pen. She’s on page 22 already and hasn’t fallen asleep yet, so I take that as a good sign 🙂 My goal is to have it published in time for the Bantam Festival.

1946 Ad for the Jeep Wagon on eBay
I like this ad.
“This collectible magazine advertisement is original, not a reprint or photocopy. It measures apprx. 10 1/2″ wide by 13 1/2″ tall and is in good condition ready to mat and frame. Due to the nature of vintage paper, most advertisements will show some minor signs of aging and wear. All of our ads are packaged in plastic sleeves with a cardboard backing inside of a mylar mailer.”

1952 CJ-3A Medina, OH No Price
Seller is looking for at least $15,000.
“Decided to sell my 1952 Willys CJ3A that just recently completed a full, frame off restoration. My family has owned this Jeep for 37 years (since 1975) when my Dad bought. He recently passed away and this Jeep isn’t helping the healing process for some reason.
This Willys went thru a complete restoration and was finished in 2012. A complete BRAND NEW steel body was purchased and installed. Frame was sandblasted, tec. Jeep has original motor and trans as well as a very RARE factory installed rear PTO winch. Tires are OEM originals and also Brand New. The list of New Parts is very long, all original and expensive!
Those of you that know these Jeeps, know what they are worth. I’m looking for the Best Offer. For those of you out there that are tire kickers, I will advise you that any offer under $15k won’t even be considered……so that’s the ballpark I’m playing in.
Email or text wih any questions…..33zero-42one-68zero0”

1956 Truck Houston, TX No Price
The bumper could use replacing, but this pic hints that this might be in decent shape.
“This is a 1956 4 wheel drive Willys pick up. I believe it’s all original including the 134 CID 6CYL and Borg Warner transmission. It was a running truck when I bought it as a project 2 years ago. It has since been started a few times but has not been run in about 6-8 months. Will require a tune up to be road ready again.

1949 Jeepster Rapid City, SD **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $22,500.
Mark listed this over at sellajeep.com.
“1949 Willys VJ This is a great car, fun to drive and a real head turner. I purchased this last winter from a private seller in AZ who had been rebuilding it and he tried to keep it as original as possible. It was near finished and I added a few things to it. Here is a list.
New: top and side curtains, frame for top, gas tank and sending unit, exhaust pipe and muffler, fuel pump, turn signals, hub caps, seats covers, a new overdrive, chrome bumpers, steering wheel with suicide knob, outside mirrors, dash nobs and carb kit. The engine is a totally rebuilt 4 cyl. (lead-free gas) by a Jeep expert in Phoenix and it has a newer paint job with a few small road chips and almost all of the chrome is new and looks excellent. I had a slider built for the driver’s seat so it can be adjusted. It is a six volt system and has radial tires that are like new. It has always been garaged.
Things I did not get to: back brakes need new seals and the transmission has a problem with 2nd gear slipping out at times.”
1946 CJ-2A Orangevale, CA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000
This VEC has a V-8 installed in it.
“Up for sale is a great restoration project. 1946 willys cj2a. It has a clean tittle and current reg in my name. It has it’s fair share of bumps and bruises but it is a driver and could be a daily driver if you want it to be. All stock running gear except for the engine. It has a 283 small block chevy with a adapter to the 3 speed and rare factory overdrive. You can drive it 55 no problem. It is a project but it is a driver as well. Also has a old all aluminum arctic top for the winter. All lights blinkers and gauges work as well. All new brakes too.”
