“Fully restored Mil-Spec, Historically Correct in every way. Meuseum Level Restoration. Delivered to Dept. of The Army in May 1952, Serial # 68944. Has the Original Engine restored back to original displacement, Even has the original Horn restored, Has all Accesories- First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher, Tool Kit (complete), Jack & crank handle, All TM’s (Army Technical Manuals) originals ..not reprints, in the correct Document Bag, Deep Water Fording Kit, Beachwood Canvas throughout including Web Straps, Winter Top, Side Curtains, Doors,etc. Has currently installed a 1919 A4 Browning Machine Gun Dummy on the Correct M-31 Pedistal with all accessories. Commander Antenna Mast Bases and Radio hook-up. I have Command Radios which are avialable with their original Manuals.
This jeep Won at the MVPA (Military Vehicle Preservation Association) 1997 Convention for the ‘Post War Restored Class 1st Place’. It won 1st place award “Commander’s Choice’ , korean War, at ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND in 1999, and a total of 13 other awards and trophy’s before I stopped entering it in judgeing competitions. It has been written up in th ‘Cherokee Tribune Newspaper May 5, 2006, page 1-D, Title ‘American Armor’. It also has been in the MVPA 1999 Calendar for Febuary (Very Difficult to Get In). This Jeep represents the ‘BEST of THE BEST’ for M38’s. PLEASE”
