“Here is my 1945 willys MB. This took me three winters to do a full frame up restoration. The frame was sanblasted and coated with POR 15 before being painted, The front frame horns were replaced and the rear crossmember. The axles were gone through and also POR 15 and then painted. The T84 transmission was gone through and rebuilt also the transfercase. The MB stamped engine was rebuilt by an engine shop, has about 200 miles on it. The Tub,hood, fenders, and windshield frame came from willys overland, the grill is original. The canvas is from beachwwod canvas, and the wireing is from vintage wireing of maine. All five combat rims are original and were sandblasted coated with POR 15 and then painted. There are many original parts NOS parts and some new parts in this jeep. The brakes are all new and new lines.I had a guy on the G503 website do some research and find the hood numbers for this MB, which he felt these were the correct ones. The data plate on the frame horn is original and the plates on the glove box door came from dataplates4U.Serial #412XXX.This is a great looking MB, Im sure I forgot about some stuff, any questions feel free to ask or send me your phone number and I would be glad to talk to you.I will get some more photos posted this weekend. These photos were taken this past summer.”

It’s a project.
“I am selling my old Ford GPW that I got from a friend of mine. It was sitting in the woods for nine years and he didnt want it anymore. I had got it planning to fix it up and get it running just to use it as a feild vehicle but never got the chance to. I have a few other projects that im busy with and dont have time to mess with it. I had removed the decapitated body from the frame and discovered that the frame was still in amazing condition for as old as it is. The Ford GPW’s frame is in better shape than my 1974 CJ5 Jeeps frame. Connected to the frame is the original inline four cylinder engine and three speed trans with high and low transfer case. When I got it which was about a year ago the engine did turn over. The transmission and clutch are also in good condition and worked when the engine was cranked. It also comes with three of the original wheels (one spare and two of the front wheels) and two other wheels that were on the rear when I got it. I also have a few parts that were salvageable from the body including the: hood, passengers seat, back seat, compartment doors, non original headlights that were on it, horn, winsheild without the glass, and a few other things like the hood latches. I will be cutting the upper dash off the rusted out body so that all of the gauges and levers come with it. This frame and drivetrain would make a great restoration project for someone who has or can get an old willys jeep body. If interested please call 717-789-3895 and ask for Cooper. If i am not availible please leave a message. Or email me.”
This appears solid.

FYI: As of the latest news I have, Craigslist will go black on Wednesday. I will update Tuesday night, but the links will probably not work all of Wednesday. However, I won’t blacken eWillys.
Major sites such as WordPress, Craigslist, Wikipedia, and others will be joining the blackout. I spent some time doing some research tonight, hoping to separate fact from hyperbole regarding the SOPA and PIPA legislation. Based on what I’ve read about the way the legislation has been worded, both of these bills could be seriously misused. Just look at this link to see how Senator Lamar Smith’s own website, the bill’s author, could be taken down permanently, because he has violated copyright law.
Roy sent this Jeeps News’ page. The caption is self explanatory. You can see the jeeps much better if you click on the image below. I think Anderson Township is in Ohio.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3200.
This looks good.
“This Willy Jeep is in good condition. It needs a new battery and ignition switch but otherwise it runs great and is mechanically sound. It has a V6 with a rebuilt transmission and transfer case. It comes with two tops; the bikini top in the pictures and a full cover with doors.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,500.
“This is an original, 1942 Army Jeep. It was built in April, 1942 and still has the data plates. This jeep is as complete and rust free as you will ever find. This jeep was my daily driver since 1993 and has always been garaged. DMV registration is current.
This jeep comes complete with all five 2-piece rims (no tires), rifle rack and aftermarket canvas top. There are numerous extra parts, including the original carburetor, 6-volt generator and fire extinguisher. The engine block is cracked and needs to be rebuilt or replaced. The original transmission and radiator have been rebuilt. I have all receipts for repairs and parts. This jeep can be restored to museum quality or used as a daily driver. Do not compare this to incomplete, non-working jeeps found outside in yards.”
This comes complete with plaques.
“This 1950 Willys CJ3A Jeep was restored with its original motor, transmission and transfer case. The truck is completely rust free and runs like a champ. The tub and interior received a special “black out” treatment, and a custom sound system was fitted into a custom overhead console…just plug in your iPod and hit the trail! The truck has its original seats (re-covered) and original, fully rebuilt flathead motor! 4×4 system works like new. Newer BF Goodrich all terrain tires and wheels. The body is incredibly straight, floor boards, body and frame are all rust free. Original Colorado Two owner truck! All gauges, lights and buttons work like they should…check out the video below! Dont miss out, own this rare jeep at a fraction of the build cost!”
