(12/16/2011) It looks nice enough, but whenever someone claims a jeep is restored to “exact specifications”, yet I see right away non stock hubs, I become a little leery. However, generally is looks pretty good.

After waiting all day for it, the book finally arrived at 4:45pm. A knock at the door was quickly followed by my parents’ dog Jill barking at whomever was on the other side of the door. We quickly ran to the door. I snatched up the book while Ann raced for her camera. Mom was excited, the kids were excited, Ann was excited, and I was excited too. I think Dad was even excited, though if pressed I’m not sure he would admit it. Pictures ensued, followed by a gift of a pen by Ann especially for signatures (and it’s a great pen, too!).
The only issue I have found with the printing (which is good) is that the Title doesn’t stand out enough, so I will be making a change to that. Otherwise, it looks ready to go. Here are some pics from this special day.
This sure looks nice for the price.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $325. It’s a Kelly Hardtop.
“New price – move fast to grab this nice hard top. Purchased to fit my ’43 Ford GPW, but I decided to go with all canvas. Nice condition. Photos below. I have owned it for three years, during which it has been stored indoors. Includes hard top, two small panels for leading edge of door, and two doors. Condition good, other than a small, non-rusting crease low down on one door.
I looked at the manufacturers plate. It seems to say model F 23-300,
which seems to be what would fit a cj2a or cj3a… I think. Maybe later models –
you tell me.”
This appear solid.
