“Very nice running and driving Jeep Fleetvan. Appears to be all original. I put a new distributor in it and cleaned it up a bit. Runs, shifts and stops. I wouldn’t take it out on the road just yet but definitely not far from being a great food or swag truck. Very cool advertising piece for a business.”

“I have a 1951 willys pickup, I bought from a friend, got it to restore but don’t have the extra funds for parts, was willing to sell for less because of an injury but all healed up now but still willing to part with for the right price. The motor should be good, it was restored and ran when parked in the yard around 20 years ago. Someone had taken the radiator off and belt somewhere over the years, but i do have the radiator. It rolls but haven’t worked on the motor so don’t know if it will start or not. I know these trucks go for much more in same condition. Asking $1,000 OBO I do not have the title but can right bill of sale. Also can have original owner provide paperwork if any concerns.”

Raise Garden #2 Completed
The big spring project, operation Raised Garden #2, has finally concluded. The auto irrigation system is ready to go. Now, Ann just needs to finish planting and I need to put away the tools leaning against the shop (and paint the fencing around the propane tank).
Since first buying the place we’ve struggled with what to do with this dead zone between the shop and the guest house. Ann’s idea for 2nd garden area there looks like it will be a good idea. Here’s a before and after photo:
On Sunday, I returned to working on the FC. I finished a cover plate for the Wilwood hole (formerly the original shifter hole), and I built a bracket for the oil-cooler/electric fan setup (no pics just yet). Though I need to catch up on other projects waylaid as a result of the garden, I should have more time to work on the FC again.

“Purchased as a non-running Jeep from behind a barn in Memphis TN. Rebuilt as a project during Covid lockdown. Flat-head 60hp Go Devil engine converted to 12v, and new wiring and gauges installed throughout. Disk brakes added to the front to aid in drivability, and the front seats have been extended rearward into the rear fenders to allow a little more clearance between the steering wheel and the driver. Frame is powder coated. Axles, transmission/transfer case, and motor are all powder coated then rebuilt. Body work and painting performed off-the-frame at Fenix Automotive (https://www.fenixgarage.com/), and the full underside of the body is painted the same as the top side.”

“This is a beauty! It would be the perfect restoration project. 4×4 2 door, Studebaker “big six” 353 cubic inch inline 6-cylinder engine, chrome wheels. This was made by Willys Motor Company. We have the original grill. Rear seats are original. Front seats are comfortable bucket seats. It has the original rear sliding windows. It doesn’t run. One tire is deflated and it will need to be replaced. There is crack in the front passengers side windshield. If you need a recommendation for a local company that can move it for you (they also deliver out of state), we have on”
Fiberglass Tub Mill Hall, PA $1200
My impression is that AJ’s bodies had more of a standard step. The steps on this body are more similar to the Bobcat/Parkette designs. However, I think this is similar to some other bodies built in the midwest by a yet-unidentified manufacturer years ago (probably some entrepreneur or small shop).
