“1960 Willy’s Jeep is mostly all Original, New Electric Fuel Pump, New OEM Muffler, New (4) Brake Cyl’s and Shoes, Recent Oil Change w / Synthetic Oil. Speedometer not working (mileage unknown). It has had a valve job in 1989. I installed two 3 Point Safety Belts, Turn Signal Switch, and Drivers side electric windshield wiper. The top is a makeshift top I constructed just to keep the rain and snow off but needs to be upgraded. I am asking 7200.00 OBO .
I purchased this Jeep last year and I am the second owner.
I am selling it because I am 74 yo and it is difficult for me to get in and out of it. Also I am a large man and I am not comfortable driving it.
I just returned from Moab Ut. and the Jeep is still on the trailer.”

(01/28/2018) “CJ5 body. Doors and windows work. OHV 4cyl Engine runs fine and has great oil pressure. Fuel pump needs seal. Needs clutch and brakes done. Hard top needs some attention. All the drive shafts and levers for pto and differential are working. Front winch needs engagement lever. Starter works good. Coil and points good. Body and fenders not great. Frame is decent.
Have some spare transmissions and differentials.
Spare hard top for cj5 don’t know what year.
Needs some love. Not interested in parting it out. I know it has some rare items and they work. Enough to restore or use for parts. 1500$ firm.
Not sure how much value is here.

“I have a 47 Willys Jeep. It is rough and beat up. No title. Old ranchers lost it years ago. I have had it for 3 years. The ranchers had it 45 years. It has a newer overhead valve jeep engine in it. It will run if you can get it started. I think the starter is finally caput! No idea what fuel tank they put in the back is out of and I made a milk crate seat. Last time I was able to start it the engine purrs like a kitten. Fwd works. For some reason there is something cool about it. I call it, Drivable yard art!”

The original L134 engine was disassembled and found to be within factory tolerances. It was put back together with new bearings, rings, oil pump and seals.
The engine has a new water pump, thermostat, new fuel pump, new carburetor, a new 12 volt alternator and the original 6 volt starter that has been rebuilt. and completely new wire harnesses.

Repro Ford script tub on original GPW frame, less than 300 miles on professionally rebuilt GPW engine assembly with F script cylinder head. GPW marked transmission with F script top cover. Early GPW bell housing, GPW/Ford marked transfer case and axels. Most small parts correct. Original WWII combat rims with new tires, tubes and flaps. New 6v battery, rebuilt generator and regulator. New GPW marked radiator, coolant is waterless Evans anti-freeze so cooling system will not rust. Repro M31C pedestal mount, original M48 dash mount with 2 cradles. “350 Corvette engine. 4-speed manual. 4WD. Front locker. New BFG all terrains. Garage kept for most of its life. Paint still looks brand new. Has a bikini top and soft top. Front bucket seats, rear bench. Tow bar.
A really nice jeep in its heyday but has been sitting for 15-ish years. I had it running and drove around the block about 1 year ago but has been sitting since. It does need some work as reflected in the price (fully updated and driveable Jeeps like this go for $14,000+). Built by my uncle before 4wheelparts existed so you will have to spec parts on your own.
Needed immediately: front and rear leaf springs (flattened out), bump stops, and maybe shocks. Drum brakes need a good flush and bleed. Will take a little go-juice for the carb to get her running but then she purrs.
