“1948 Willy’s Jeep body still has original ident tag on fire wall. It has been stretched 16″ in center. It is on a mid 80’s 4×4 chevy s-10 chassis with 3″ lift and 31″ mudders. IFS in front with locker. Front grill is cut out to fit chevy 350 motor and 700r4 tranny with o/d from late 80’s police car. transfer case has 2H,4H, and 4L. Radiator and electric fan are in front of grill area behind bumper. It has power leather bucket seats from a grand cherroke. I have many 4×4’s and this is everybody’s favorite in the offroad parks, it is extremely fast and will get you anywhere. It still needs work that i haven’t finished but runs and drives right now. I don’t think there is anyway it could ever be street legal, the body was bought out of weeds on a deer lease. however it is very light, I tow it easily with 1/2 ton pickup.
