Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “this is a metal roof that converts a cj3b or similar type jeep to a pickup configuration. it would be perfect for a deer lease jeep on those cold rainy mornings it originally was part of my cj3b jeep before i bought it and before a massive roll bar was added and it no longer fit. it has a rudimentary gun rack and a rear window(glass or plexi needs replaced). if you need it, you can buy it for only $60 as is.”

The flames really make it go fast. This runs. This has a Worman half cab.
“This jeep has been stored indoors since the 70’s until just this April when I purchased. I have a free and clear title that will go with upon payment. Mechanically this jeep works and runs great. It has a PTO and was set up as a plow truck for a small business. The jeep runs great, shifts, stops, plow setup works as it should and plow goes up and down as well as side to side. I do have the plow blade but it is not pictured. The frame and chassis seems solid and complete but the body has fallen apart and has been patched up to be functional over the years. The origiginal gas tank no longer is hooked up and gas is gotten from an outboard motor tank sitting in the back of jeep. If you need a good complete chassis or parts this is your chance here. Will need to be trailed for safety reasons as it has not run on the road for many many years. The plow blade is comletely good and functional, but was not handy to photo.
Like I said earlier this engine runs great and everyhting seems complete and working chassis wise including the transfer case, etc. Mileage is unknown. Please do not bid if you can not pickup by Sunday Oct 23rd unless making arrangements first.””

The body has been patched, but it runs. It needs brake work.
“Here is a 1954 CJ3B in running condition . All original with 134 F-Head. Full aluminum cab and doors, complete snow plow assembly included. Jeep starts and drives,and has good oil pressure but will need brake work to make it road worthy. Frame is very solid with very minor surface rust, even the rear crossmember is solid. Grill, hood, windshield frame, fenders, and tailgate are all solid and in good shape. Body tub has been patched with metal and some bondo, here and there. Clear title and current registration. This has some solid letter desert dogs. I suspect this has hardly been used over the past 30 years.

“Vintage 1948 Willys Overland Jeep, model CJ-3A, with Sears half cab body and ISAR hydraulic pump system for snow plow (plow is not included).
CONDITION: Drive train, consisting of engine, transmission and transfer cases, is in good condition with no known problems. Non-directional tread tires and tubes are excellent. Steering box, brakes, shock absorbers, instrument gauges, body and seats all need restoration. New gas tank was installed about two years ago.
This jeep is an excellent candidate for restoration back to original conditon or, as a work vehicle on a farm or private property. Included are parts book (numbers and descriptions), mechanic’s manual and parts catalog. All, reasonable, Best Price offers considered.”
It was running 30 year ago. It has been stored a while. It might be a good restoration project. This appears to have a Worman half cab.

“its a cj2a 1946 jeep willy’s custom on a 1971 comando frame the tranny is a turbo 400, transfercase is a model 120,rear axel is a 44 with true track 488 gears front and rear , model 27 front axel with 4 joints in axels ,2x 11 breaks , 6,000 lb. wench , 225 cubic inch buik odd fire engine , 600 cf carb (4barrel ) ,, manifold is a ofenhouser duel plain , new air conditioner but needs dryer for it never even had freon in it, marian altenater shielded by wire mesh , electric fuel pump at fuel tank and filter, rear mai leaf is 5′ long and front is 4′ long , tires are 35 x 12.50 x 10 good condition 5 lug.
i bought this off my dad who buld it and it does need the tranny put in he was in the middle of building it when he had a heart attack and couldnt finish it.
it is a monster for off roading .”
