I’m not sure how much value is here or what it will take to finish this custom rig.

“I don’t know much about it. My ex and our good friend purchased this from a widow who’s husband was building it, and now I am currently separated and need to sell it as I can not finish the project. No title. Please call or text me to come take a look. I’m in Woodland Park, which is about 25 minutes West from Colorado Springs. I don’t get to my emails often, so a call or text is best.”
This is an early hardtop by Porter & Reed. It looks to be a Full Econo-Body-Type “B” model.

“No idea who made it, can’t find any tag or stamping. Grabbed it for my ’47 2a but am not going to use it. In pretty great shape considering it’s age. Both doors intact.”
Dan shared this stock CJ-2A with a Porter & Reed hardtop.

“1947 Willys Jeep all original, only thing missing that I am aware of is the original generator. I don’t believe the cab is original either. Has been sitting since early 1970’s and does not run that I am aware of. Montana title in hand.”
Engine may be stuck.

“1946 CJ2A (Project) Willy’s Jeep. All original with extra parts. I also have a convertible windshield for it and an extra front bar. Will be cleaning it up more and more and updating photos. One owner, passed down from my grandfather, have all original info. Needs a tune up, and some fresh tires but as of right now hasn’t been ran in a decade or so. Will run and drive with a little love. Located in Banks, Oregon.”
Unclear if this runs or not. No description provided. Has a Koenig hardtop.
This might be worth a look. Has a Meyer-style hardtop, a tux park style rear bumper, and many other parts. The passenger fender looks to be from an early M-38A1, while the driver’s side fender may be original.

UPDATE II: There’s another 1954 Metamet 12-page brochure for sale on eBay (see bottom of post for pics)
View all the information on eBay
=============================
UPDATE Posted July 04, 2019: This post has been updated to reflect some more information and images. It was originally posted in March of 2013.
Metamet was a British company that refurbished WWII jeeps and civilian jeeps, creating a slew of different models. According to the G503 Forum, “Metamet was run by an expat Pole, and latterly his son. It was a wonderful Aladdin’s caves of wartime Jeeps and Jeep bits and pieces located in a series of old mews stables in Daleham Mews. These places were commonly garage workshops in post-horse London, but nowdays are worth untold fortunes as residences.”
At one point in the early 1950s there were twelve different models of jeeps offered by Metamet, only one of which was the standard production model jeep. The rest were all customizations of one type or another. Seven models were 80″ wheel base, while the other five had 100″ wheel bases. The models include, the Standard, De-luxe, Farmer, Five-in-one, Saloon, Shooting Brake, 10 CWT Truck, Metaplan, Station Wagon, 15 CWT Van, 20 CWT Lorry, and a 2 Ton Loadmaster.
A 1952 Ad posted to Flicker by Johnathan confirms there were twelve models also:
Finally, here’s a 1954 12 page brochure that provides examples of different models that used to be linked to on the jeep farm website:
This Kelly hardtop has some surface rust at the very least, but it’s hard to tell just how deep it is based on the pics.

“For sale – Kelly All Steel Top enclosure for CJ3B Picked up this project jeep over the weekend. Don’t need the Kelly Steel Top, so it is for sale. In decent shape, windows roll up and down, some rust but definitely usable and restorable. These are harder and harder to find.”
I believe this has a Kelly Custom 300 Series CJ-6 top, but I don’t have a specific pic of that top with the model number.

“RARE jeep, the older sister to the cj-8 scrambler, this is the CJ-6. (extended version of the cj5) While technically there were 6,000 more cj8’s made, nearly 50% of the cj-6s were exported, and then quite a few of them were sent to the forest service and eventually destroyed. This one even has a rare hard top and only has 64k original miles. She’s powered by the mighty Buick Dauntless V6 and 3speed manual transmission. This jeep runs great and drives well, however the brakes need some attention. There’s no leak, but it’s time for new shoes and some adjustment.”
Mike’s selling this nice looking Tuxedo Park IV. It includes a beautiful example of a Kelly Safari Hardtop, complete with the soft-top sections and one of the best examples of that top that I’ve seen. This jeep was listed on Bat (with lots of pics) and other sites, including Craigslist. The body has been restored in some places and patched on the front floors.

The headlights look to be a bit cross-eyed.

“Great solid frame in original running condition 6 v o l t do not bother me with low-ball offers please call”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $10,500.
Ivan shared this rare jeep. It is a former fire jeep-wagon. It was likely part of a limited production model either from some Willys-licensee in Europe or a third party. It’s priced at 45,000 Plish Zlotych which equates to about $19,500 USD.

“For sale is a 53 willys that has been sitting for around 7 years behind a church in Newburgh. I acquired it as a project but in my current situation am unable to give it the time and love it deserves. As far as I know it did run when it was parked but obviously doesn’t run now. It is a 69 year old New York vehicle so it has its fair share of rust but has solid bones given the state it had been left in. I am happy to entertain any offers within reason including trades. I have mirrors and the missing part of the rear door as well as a spare front grill.”
Has a Kelly hardtop. I’m surprised this is still around at this price.

“Built in 1959, probably 1960 model. Complete, frame seems solid, Chevrolet V8 installed, transfer case for front wheels also in place. No title. 12V system”
Could be worth a look. No description provided.
It runs, so there could be value here.
“1973 Jeep CJ5 , Stock V8 , stick shift , runs and drives , It jumps out of first gear not sure whats wrong with it , but over all has the power as it should , 4×4 works , for the $2250obo or possible trade , would make a nice project jeep or just wheel it !! Serious inquiries only”
The hardtop has been patched, but looks in reasonable shape. There seems to be some value here.

“Old army jeep everything original and it’s all there needs to be towed, put a battery in it and it did nothing”
This 1959 Jeepster project out of Lake Havasu City, AZ, has an unusual top. It looks like a hardtop of some type and seems to fit the Jeepster well. The large side window isn’t. very stylish, but the smaller one seems to fit the top. Anyone seen a top like this?
