UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4250.
Not quite “unmolested”, but pretty close. It appears to be a “Lefty”. The top is interesting. Whether custom or dealer offered I couldn’t say.
“A True Survivor and Garage Find. Everything is original and unmolested. From the estate of my father, Gordon Churchwell, he purchased it new and registered until the mid 80’s. Afterwards it was used around the farm for recreational use. In addition, there are several photos showing a rare back seat, fog lamps, a mesh grill, a tow bar, original heater, the original canvas doors, spare tire, and other misc parts. The top he made from marine plywood and fiberglass coated as he spent his years in retirement restoring antique wooden boats. It can be easily removed. It isn’t currently running and will need restorative work. All items pictured is included in the sale. Pick up only and transport is responsibility of buyer..”
Runs, drives, but could use new tires.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500. This might be a Station Wagon Bodies hardtop: http://www.ewillys.com/2012/08/10/letter-about-woodies-by-station-wagons-inc-on-ebay/
(10/29/2016) This has a funky hardtop (and a flat tire).
“1946 Jeep Willys CJ-2A, perfect winter project for restoration. Extra parts including: motor, trans and other parts included, see pictures. ”
UPDATE: Thanks to Bill for correcting me.
There is some value here given the Meyer hardtop, but not clear how much.
“Pre 59 willys m38a1. Im assuming this is military or dod use jeep as it has the place for a shovel under the hood a 4in fuel filler and the compartment on the cowl section does open. What i do know is it has the dana 18 twin stick tcase which is worth a good bit by itself. Also has a t90 3speed, dana 25 front axel with dana 44 rear. Also has a hurricane f head engine that turns over by hand. Lots of new parts inside the truck. Engine and tcase were built in 77. I dont see this taking alot to be running and going again. Located in eclectic price is negotiable in person.”

Mike shared this CJ-5 .It’s ago a few unusual mods. At first I thought the hardtop was a Sears Deluxe (and the doors appear to be Sears), but from the inside it’s got cracks everywhere, suggesting it is fiberglass. Anyone have experience with these tops? Is it some type of interior insulation that is cracked?
“This listing is for the 1960 Willy Jeep shown. It has the arctic hard top, upgraded wheels and brakes, and an 84″ snow plow. It runs and operates as it should. The speedometer is new, true mileage unknown.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(12/07/2017) Has a Meyer hardtop that looks in good condition.
“Buick V6, 3 speed, Toyo 295/70/R17, Ultra rims, axle lift, runs strong, heater core needs repaired.

It’s a crazy price. That said, it does have a nice example of a Blue Star hardtop and what appear to be late model Free Lock hubs.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
It doesn’t run at the moment, but there still may be some value here. Has a Koenig hardtop.
“Just testing the waters, I have a CJ3A with plow. Everything works on the plow just needs belt. Its all original, three speed manual, 6v system. Needs some work to get it going, hasn’t ran in a little over a year. Tub isn’t perfect and will need some things. Also will need leaf spring, radiator fix or new one and some wiring for lights. It HAS heat! motor was completely rebuilt in the 90s and have paperwork for everything that has been done to it. Mainly used for plowing and light woods cruising over the years. No title but there is no need for one. Its old enough”
Given the Meyer hardtop (has one dent in the back), there might be some value here?

Somehow the back of the Meyer hardtop is dented. This needs work.
“For sale I have a really rare 1966 cj 6 that has been a Colorado jeep since brand new. From what I was told from the guy I bought it from the city of aspen bought it for snow mass ski area and then it spent its life on the ski slope. It runs actually pretty good it does need a carb rebuild and fuel lines to actually run. The body is in pretty good shape some light rust on the out side of tub but not half as bad as I’ve seen on some newer models both floor boards are gone due to rust. It has the factory hard top and hard doors that need some work but it is there and complete. I have driven it all 3 speeds work as do the 2 speed transfer are clutch seems to have lots of life and the mileage was told to me to be accurate not really wanting to sell the holy grail Jeep I really just don’t have the time it needs to bring it back to glory.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2750.
It runs. Looks like the top and doors may be in good shape. Includes a working plow.
“For Sale WITH TITLE is a 1959 Willy’s CJ5 with extras. I bought this a couple months ago to build it, and now we decided to sell our house. So, I have nowhere to go with it! I’m a little miffed, but it is what it is.
With a little squirt of gas into the carb, even on the coldest days, this little gas rocket fires right up. I don’t know much about it being I’ve only had it for a couple of months and havent really touched it outside of adjusting the brakes so it would role better. What I do know is, it needs to be completely gone through. It’s been bastardized by more than a couple people by the looks of it. The good news is that the motor runs well (will need some carb work to work best), and it has a couple of additional things with it.

Maybe some value here, especially given the Cab Enclosure top.

” Eminently restorable steel hardtop and doors from 1967 Jeep CJ6. All glass intact and weatherstripping/rubber in good condition. Door mechanisms work…windows roll up and down.
I’ve restored the rest of the jeep, but this original top is too heavy to put back on. This is a rare piece for the dedicated originalist.
Surface rust on the interior roof, as you see in the picture, but not threatening the metal’s integrity.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
(12/22/2017) Has some updates and a Cab Enclosure hardtop.
“1947 Willys Flat fender. Mostly original. Has Buick v6, factory axles manual transmission, new 33×9.50×15 wild county tires on black steel wheels. Willing to trade for cj7, Tj, or built one ton axles with passenger side drop or what else you got??? Thanks for looking. Clean title.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
This runs. It looks like the side windows of the hard top have been enlargened.
“1950 willys Jeep
Recent engine overhaul
Runs perfectly
Jeep runs and drives
Needs a gas tank”
UPDATE: SOLD, Was on eBay. As I understand it, this top was quietly manufactured for Willys Motors by Koenig, but never branded a Koenig. I am also of the belief that it fits both the CJ-5 and the DJ-3A, though the latter needs the windshield with ‘wings’ to fit.
This brochure makes it clear that the CJ-5 hardtop with sliding doors also provided an option for hinging the door instead. I think Mike might have told that was an option, but I’d never seen documentation of it until now.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5200. Kelly hardtop.
