(05/23/2012) “The jeep is in great running condition, and still has the original L-134 inline four cylinder that starts right up and drives, no problems. The jeep shifts three on the tree. Two wheel drive. Shows 97 miles on the odometer. Always stored inside and the condition reflects that. It was partially restored by the previous owner, and received new paint and upholstery. Tires are in great shape. Let me know if you would like to come and see it.”
Rob was waiting for family in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, while on vacation when he spotted this nice looking truck.

This FC supposedly spent it’s life running the railroad tracks. No railroad wheels left according to the seller.

This looks like a solid M-38. It still runs 24 volt.
“I am selling my 1951 military willys jeep. The tub is all original as is the motor and it has O rust. The floors are as solid as when they came off the production line. It is set up with the 24 volt system and has 2 new batteries. The tires and tubes are in brand new condition and i do have a spare tire and rim. It comes with a as i was told old new stock canvas top. The bows on the jeep are new and yet need to be painted. The wiring in the jeep does need to be redone as it is the original wiring. the wiring is good for starting and stopping the engine. The engine is solid and starts and runs beautifully. The high and low 4 wheel drive work great as does the 2 wheel drive. The jeep has a couple spots that for some odd reason were spray painted black but that is a easy fix with a can on military match spray paint. “1959 CJ-5 with a 327 Corvette engine from 1962. It has new tie rods, all new electrical, new front and rear seals on the engine, 3″ lift and newer tires. The body is in excellent condition and has no rust. The transmission does need some work.”

Bill unearthed this from eBay. The Genius Sno Balls FJ-3 Truck is for sale. It lacks a motor. It also doesn’t steer.

“fter much thought and prayer I’ve decided to put my Jeep up for sale.I’m the third owner and have known this Jeep since new.It belonged to my Uncle’s neighbor,he bought it new,he was old in the 70’s when I was kid.I lost track of it for a while, but it turned out didn’t go to far and i got to buy it. I’ve owned it fifteen years and had lots and lots of fun in it. Hunting trips,trips to Colorado 4 wheeling in the mountains in SE Ok. but I’m going to sell it and use the money for my buisness.This Jeep is mostly all original except for a new correct Carter YF carb,headlight switch,dimmer switch and a few things like that.Has a fairly new set of 700×15 mud and snows,probally not more than 3000 miles on them. Had just very,very little rust under the gas tank that was fixed when painted,been in Ok. all its life and kept inside a lot of the time. I put new brake shoes on it 4 or 5 years ago.I would not afraid to drive this Jeep anywhere,it has failed to start one time in fifteen years,I let the battery go dead.It has been dependable,dependable. Drive it as far as you can on a back road and shut it off,it will start when you get back. It roads out really well for an old Jeep it will run 55 down the highway pretty easy,I’ve took a lot of twenty five mile hi-way trips in it. . . ”

Originally the Jeep came from a country estate in Pennsylvania and it NEVER had any rust on the body!
My Father did a full body off restoration 4 years ago and it has been sitting in his clean, dry basement (he drained the gas) ever since.
As you can see from the picture the vehicle only has 27.5 miles since he finished restoring it… this has to be one of the nicest Jeeps in the entire country!!!”

“Kaiser Willys 1955 CJ5. First year of the civilian CJ5’s, 215 V8 Buick motor with 2bbl carb, new battery this spring, 3 Spd tranny, Overdrive, front tow hitch, 60’s era bucket seats. Except for the motor and overdrive I believe this jeep to be fairly stock. I have some 31-10.50-15 tires on it with fair tread. Standard 9 in brakes so expect what you get for brakes with the 9″ drums and 1955 brakes designs. Runs and drives. Some rust peeking through paint with a split on top just behind hood. Bimini top and full soft top with two sets of doors. Soft top is fair. Keeps the weather out but rear window could be replaced as it is cracked. Asking $1800 cash and will only sell local. Can be used as is or would be a base for a builder if desired. My original desire was to build it up but just ended up using it stock for the past 8 or 9 years. Please respond to ad and I will get back with you. Thanks for looking.”

I don’t exactly know why this turned up in my search today, but what the heck. I’ll post anyway. It is supposed to be Jewel Stainless, too. At least one conversion calculator puts the price of this at around $2400.
