“This is a barn find, or a old hot rod….. Whatever, This Jeepster has a 256 Chevy V8 (1956), and a 4 speed manual transmission, a new top and bucket seats. Anyway the history this car was build in the early 60’s and has not been changed since. The brakes are new and it runs drive and stop. It can go to any car show or cruise. It’s not 100% authentic, but it wouldn’t take much to be 100%.  The front frame rails look unmolested and unbent.  Strangely, there are no pics that show the sides.

Bad:
Crack in rear right muffler makes a sound when letting off gas. It’s smog exempt. Fix at your own convenience.
Spare not full size.
Windshield wiper motors work, but do not move the arms. I suspect stripped gears. New wipers/motors/arms are $50 each.
Right mirror has some water inside of it and will need to be replaced. The round style mirrors are cheap for a set and will slide right into the holders.
There are a few small screw holes under the new top where the old style Bestop was installed. On the new one they moved the snaps. The benefit is that the new top will fold down like a convertible.”

“This jeep starts right up and is a lot of fun to drive. The Jeep has an excellent running V8 engine, a Warn overdrive (transfer case is twin-stick, gives it a high and low range for each gear), a new soft top, and a new gas tank. The transmission on this jeep is a smooth-shifter and it works perfectly.
I had all of the brake wheel cylinders replaced (along with a couple of brake lines that needed to be replaced) and the brakes work great. I also just had all of the tranny and differential fluids drained and replaced….this jeep is ready to go as a daily driver or for off-road use.
The jeep has a few small holes / spots in the floor that could be patched if desired, but they are minor and overall, this vehicle has very little rust and is in very good cosmetic shape for it’s age.
Everything works on the jeep except the speedometer and fuel gauge. I have the kit to put turn signals on the jeep, but, I have not installed it yet – buyer can have the kit for free if they like. The jeep also needs a rear view mirror to be registered in some states. I also have a set of large rock crawler tires that came with the jeep. I haven’t put them on but assume they fit and work.
This jeep is currently registered / titled in Idaho and it is a clean and lien-free title in my name. Mileage is unknown.
It pains me to sell this jeep but my wife says it has to go as I need the space in the garage for our boat.
Will sell for best offer received over $3,450.

It has been repainted and needs some finishing work on the interior and some wiring needs to be finished for the headlights. Very cool beach cruiser or off road vehicle. 4wd and everything works! Buz spotted this beautiful CJ-2A that will be auctioned August 20th. You can learn more about the auction at the Owls Head Transportation Museum or visit the museum, which is on Route 73 about 85 miles north of Portland, Maine.  I think that will be a long drive for most of us!

This looks like a well built rig. If the body is stretched, it isn’t obvious. The front fenders and hood might have been stretched though.

This has an unusual striping motif. The last tags were in 1981, so I suspect the miles on the engine are pretty low.

This is supposed to have no rust.

“I had this listed as a 1951 cj 3a. A guy from New York called me and informed me of what I really have. It’s a 1950 Willys CJV-35, and it is for sale. Since it is so rare, I have increased the price to $5500. There were only 1000 of these made in 1950. Check it out on the internet. I am not kidding All original. Flat head 4 cyl, 3 speed tranny, 2 speed transfer case. At one time this vehicle was green. Then some one painted it an ugly salmon color. I have removed a bit of the paint (a mistake), and in places it comes off easily. In other places it is on there pretty good. It runs great and has no rust, no kidding. The tool box under the pasenger seat is solid, as are the floor boards and the floor under the rubber mat in the back. It comes with a roll bar and high back bucket seats and a tow bar. I took these three items off the vehicle, for they are not stock equipment. It has a heater that works. Unfortunately, someone put an AM radio in the dash ( a really dumb move in my opinion), but they did an ok job of it and it works. ‘.”

Also, it is still 6 volt, and it has the plates on the dash from the Willys Overland Corporation. They’re pretty cool. Come check it out.
