UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
“You’re looking at a 1947 willys jeep cj2a with a Howe firetruck apparatus (5 known to exist)… This jeep has 1423 original miles, not even ready for a oil change yet, but has been totally gone through. My grandfather bought this 15 years ago from the local stockyards that closed a long time ago. His dream was to fix it up and drive it in the local parade while advertising for his grocery store, he did just that. Grandpa died in 2007 and since then, I’ve been carrying on the tradition in driving it in the local parade with my family.. The time has come to let another family enjoy this thing, the decals are vinyl and can be removed easily. As long as you have a good 6volt battery, she fires right up and purrs like a kitten. A aftermarket CD player and speakers have been installed using a separate 12 volt battery and everything is removable with 0 screws to get back to 100% original in 5 minutes. The brakes stop just fine but are hard to apply(67yrs old and no power brakes) has a high and low transfer case, and 4 wheel drive that both go right in and work as they should. Windshield folds down and I believe everything works on this thing as it should. Comes with a lot of old fire fighting tools and adapters.”
Looks solid.

” I have a Very nice complete 1949 Willys Jeep, Model CJ3A, Serial Number 23859 in Excellent Complete Condition. Look at the beautiful Koenig hard top and the patina is killer. Everything is just surface rust, here in Colorado that’s about all the farther it goes. 42, 949 miles on the odometer. We were driving this jeep 6 years ago around the farm, and from sitting the engine will not turn. I just poured some sea-foam in the spark plug holes, hopefully it will free up easily. Other than that and needing seats, this is the most original and complete jeep I have ever owned. The engine compartment is complete, underneath is complete, transmission shifts fine, somehow the engine just stuck from sitting. Look at the dash, so nice and un-molested, still has the dash tag. Slight rust inside the trap door compartment, otherwise very very nice tub. Straight hood, nice tailgate. The driver door window has come off the track, but is not cracked and should be easy to fix. Has a key and clear Colorado title, needs a 6 volt battery. Has a tow bar on the front, gas can holder on the side. Look at the coolest side mirror ever.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $16,000.
Looks like a good combo.

This is an older restoration that has had loving care since restored. Well worth the asking price”

Seller has priced this jeep at an unusually high price. This reflects the fact that the jeep was given to Eisenhower by the people of Scotland. Certainly it makes this jeep an unusual historical vehicle.

“VIN# 113422
USA # 2046114 S
The first 25,808 Willys MBs used a welded steel grille very similar to the Ford GP design, and there were a host of other differences from the later Willys. These early MBs had “Willys” embossed in the back panel. In production, the slat-grilles were given running changes until they finally evolved into the standard stamped-grille MB we know and love. Around 200 slat-grilles are estimated to survive today.
I have restored 5 combat wheels with new NDT tires
-2 gallons of correct olive drab green
-complete NEW seat canvas
-stencil kit with correct USA #
-Runs and Drives great!
This jeep has been in our family and stored inside since the 50’s.
My Grandfather was a POW in WWII”

“Velocity Restorations is proud to present this awesome 1958 Willy’s Jeep 4×4 wagon. This Willy’s has undergone a 5 yr restoration by the previous owner in Texas. After many dollars and hours were spent the previous owner traded it to us for one of our early model Broncos. We got this Jeep and went through it front to back. The body is exceptionally solid. The L6-226 Super Hurricane straight 6 engine has been rebuilt and runs flawlessly. The rebuilt engine is mated to a strong 3 speed transmission with 4×4, that shifts great. The glass and weather seal are in great condition and work properly. Shocks, brake components, and some suspension components have been replaced. The rear floor has been fitted with mahogany wood. Seats and headliner have been reupholstered and look great. Understand this is a 56 year old vehicle and will not handle like a new Jeep. However, it does start first time everytime, runs great, shifts great, stops straight, and steers good for its age. “
