UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
This CJ-2A was listed on eBay for $1200 (also listed on craigslist for the same amount). No bids were made. Bidding ended on April 13, 2010. However, it looks like a decent price to me. It is a complete jeep with a PTO winch, a top, and a cj-3a windshield with good glass.
“1947 Willy’s CJ-2A with Hardtop and doors. It has a F-Head motor with a 3 speed manual transmission and a CJ-3A windshield. I bought this for $1500 almost 5 years ago. It started right up and drove until I brought it home which is right around 9,000′. I could not get it started and since it has just been sitting in the driveway. I had the starter rebuilt at the cost of $189.81 with a receipt to show. At the moment the battery is dead and the carb. needs rebuilt or replaced. My plan was to upgrade the ignition and put on a new carb. This is a good old flatfender that just needs a little time and money. There is a swing away tire carrier with 2 jerry can holders.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500
(10/26/09) The seller suggests at least one of these is a ’45 CJ-2A. If so, then this might be worth a look and might be a decent price if the ’45 is in good shape. Lots of parts here it appears.
“5- 45 to 48 model jeep willys. 3 complete with motors. 1 has a rebuilt motor. 2 with just body frame and chassis. all needs restoring, will make good rock climbers”
Brett spotted this unusual find. No price indicated. I don’t see many of these on the east coast.

UPDATE: Back on eBay
(04/07/2010) These look rough.
“I bought these Jeeps to restore however, lack of money, and other things to worry about, has forced me to sell them. The exact year of these Jeeps are unknown THEY ARE BOTH ORIGINAL FLATFENDERS. the YELLOW Jeeps motor is locked. haven’t done anything to see otherwise, it has an valve cover ( 4cyl ) know as the F-head (has valve cover ). the body of this jeep is gone. however axles, ect. are probably still useable. This would be a good parts vehicle for someone with this type of jeep already. The Red Jeep is a L-head (flathead) condition of motor unknown, I believe this engine is know as a ” Go Devil” engine. “JEEP” AND “WILLYS” ( in the pics) are stamped on top of the motor. transmission shifts and transfercase as well drum brake on the trasmission. Body is in fair and repairable condion considering the age of this vehicle.BOTH frames on these vehicles are SOLID. Yellow jeep has a towbar and can be towed, as it was to my house. The red jeep will need trailering. I believe both these vehicles together are worth well over $800.00 for parts or restoration.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
“Runs and Drives. Top bows and early rear 2A seat included. Some rust through in tool box. $2500.”
I called and spoke to Mark about this jeep. He noted the driver’s side floorboards were especially bad. He feels strongly that this CJ will start if it get’s some fresh gas and oil. Apparently, this was used at the local airport for years.
“1955 Willys Jeep w/ tow bar and original motor. Serial #17544 This vehicle has not run in years, but should with some work. No battery. Lost title and keys. Call or e-mail for more info.”

It kinda runs. I’d like to see a few more pics.
“1945 willys mb jeep. Shape is rough. It’s 65 years old so it is what it is. Rust on everything. Frame is solid. Engine is the old flat head. Runs…kinda. No brakes, the original master cyl leaked. I have a replacement but never put it on. Running gear all original old jeep stuff. Comes with the plates, and the tag on the frame. NO TITLE bill of sale only! This thing has been around. Weird things been welded to it, cut off..and customised….This is a project.”
This appears to run.
“$1000 OBO. (206) 915-6537. Call for details.”

I haven’t seen one of these for sale in a few months. There were several buyers looking for one.
“This is my 1961 or 62 not sure Jeep FleetVan. It has the original F Head 134, but engine is stuck. Van comes with a complete good running Fhead that was removed from a cj in favor of a v8 swap. The van rolls and steers good, brakes kind of work. The doors open great, and all interior covers are there. So far the only missing Items I can find are the front bumper and orginal seat. Two side windows are shot, but are flat glass and easy to replace. This van would make a cool parade rig, or advertising for a business, maybe even a mini coffee/bagel delivery van. Please feel free to ask any questions, I will try to answer them as soon as possible. I can haul the van on my car trailer to spokane or moses lake if needed. Sorry, no tittle. Good luck.”
It’s got some classic slot rims and a PTO Winch. It looks like a great price.
“Sale is for a 1956 Willy’s Jeep CJ5- $1500.00 or best offer and as is condition. Jeep has a 1972 in-line (straight) 6 cylinder Ford Bronco motor, low gear ratio, PTO Wench w/approx. 2000′ of 5/16″ wire cable, electric fuel pump, new leaf springs with a 2″-3″ lift, new seals on the transmission, transfer case and rear differential, new muffler.
Jeep exterior and interior needs paint and the seats need to be re-upholstered. The wiring could also be updated. This jeep is a strong runner but it is not good for use on public roads due to the low gear ratio (top speed approx. 45 mph) and age. This jeep would be great for hunting, off-roading, climbing, etc. The jeep has a tow bar attached to the front so it can be pulled to your destination. Keep reading for information from NADA Guides.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $6000.
This includes a trailer. It looks like a good price. I would think that an accurately restored M-38A1 would have a split windshield?
