It has a fairly new soft top with full soft doors for side and rear. Tires are in excellent condition and are over sized 8ply. Everything works as it should for its age. Great jeep for farm or ranch but would also make great restoration project to take to next level. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Wayne points out that the skid plate was optional. This is one nice Renegade (though an imperfect restoration to stock). My only question about this is the lack of the protective skid plate underneath the gas tank that bolts between the back of the frame and the cross member in front of the tank (something my 1973 CJ-5 had). (here’s a stainless steel version of what I mean)
“This week Canyon State Classics brings to market an awesome example of a 1974 Jeep CJ-5 Renegade in stunning condition inside and out. This Jeep was bought brand new at Galloway Motors on October 3rd, 1973 by Mr. Thomas Payne of Tucson. This Jeep has Southwest desert area its whole life and is completely solid and rust-free, and still retains its all original steel tub with no patch work. This little CJ has just come out of the collection of a 35 year Jeep dealer and expert who just recently completed a full frame off restoration on this gorgeous CJ-5. He stated that he believes the miles are original at under 40k, as he knows the Jeep was off the road for the better part of 25 years before the restoration. The vehicle has been carefully restored to like new condition!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was No Price.
This looks promising and includes a rear PTO. In order to contact the seller, you’ll have to click on the “send note” at the bottom of the Craigslist ad.

“This ’64 Willys has been completely restored from ground up using all original Jeep parts. Has 14,844 original miles, with only 327 miles since complete overhaul. Have all receipts and clear title in hand. Even has original Jeep tires (new). Pics tell the whole story; this is essentially a brand new Jeep made of materials built to last. 4 cylinder with 3-speed transmission, with lockout hubs. Everything works on this Jeep like it should. I have receipts showing restore parts alone costing more than 13k; will sell for $5500, firm”
This appears in real good shape, but apparently the floors are not.
“Willys great running starts up , no smoking or leaking , 4wd works , mechanically good condition , original western plow working great , pump in great shape and no leaks, original oil filled air cleaner no leaks, windshield wipers and lights work. Front end body parts good shape , needs tub/ floor rusted out frame in good shape , awesome if you need all original drive train , can drive around but not technically road worthy as floors are rotted thru. Have soft top also a little torn up $3000 or best offer please email me . Thank you”
This looks like a pretty rare hardtop. I don’t have time to locate it in my files tonight, but I’m sure I’ve posted something about it.

It runs. Floors are overrated. Gas leaks add excitement.
“Everything works great, smooth operating plow, must take 1966 cj5 willies with plow.the jeep has no floors and the gas tank leaks.all running gear and almost every gadget, heater, blinkers, radio, ect…this thing plows awesome,I just live on hwy 33 and the state leaves me nice 3-4 foot piles of ice,it moves them but just to hard on the old girl.good tread all 4×4 works good, tight turning radius.besides needing some tlc you can have yourself a stong running plow jeep for half the price if a descent snowblower.the main issues are the gas tank which you can get new direct replacement for$209 for steel and like ten dollars more for poly.there is a loose brake line that needs to be tightened also but it’s ready to plow.only reply by phone”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000.
