1960 Wagon St. Louis Museum, MO **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was on eBay

(07/16/2010) Here’s a nice wagon, though it’s not exactly museum quality.

“One of the very few remaining unmolested Jeep carryalls in the world!! It is just one of 485 ever built in 1960. This vehicle was sold new near Springfield, Illinois in late 1959. It got repossesed shortly thereafter and remained in storage for years. An auto Museum in Springfield purchased the Jeep in the late 1990s and kept it until the museum closed a few months ago. The vehicle is amazingly solid with an all original interior. It has been painted in it’s original color. We see very little to no evidence of major rust issues. It runs and drives and is a blast. Comes with it’s original 1959 Illinois license plates!!”

1962 Wagon Portland, OR **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay

This is a nice looking Wagon.  There are a few very minor issues with it.

“I bought this all original wagon in 2004 from wagonmaster.com about five years ago.  When I bought the wagon it was advertised as having a “freshly rebuilt Hurricane 6 engine” and I am the third owner.

It is a very fun and wonderful wagon.  The color combination of gold (khaki) and president red (an original Willy’s color) are a stunning combination.  I get comments on it all of the time.  The other day I drove it to work (four miles from my house) and I got two thumbs up on the freeway and a “shout out” from a young lady who professed love for my Willy’s!  This happens all of the time.

I will, occasionally, rent my cars out for advertising photo shoots.  This past fall Lands End used my wagon for the cover page of their nationally distributed Christmas catalog.  I am told Lands End received a lot of inquiries about the Willy’s itself and if it was for sale….”

1959 Wagon Palouse, Wa $8000

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  Price dropped to $8000

(02/09/2010) Here’s a nice a Wagon.

“1959 Willys just turned 100 thousand miles. 4-Wheel without overdrive. Third owner. Purchased new in Denver then lived in Moscow for twenty something years before being sold to second owner some eight miles away. First owner changed the generator over to an alternator. Other than that no foolish “improvements.” Second owner had it also for twenty or so years and I have had it since. None of us have abused this marvelous machine in any way. Original engine and drivetrain and just about everything else but the battery and tires. Second owner rebuilt the engine about thirty thousand miles ago. No oil use. Performs as new. Cruises at sixty without any unstability or wander or excess rpm demand. NOT restored to show car condition but finished quite nicely for use with no ugly surprises. I installed a new gas gauge sender a year or so ago and it works just fine until yesterday when I put some gas in and the gauge dropped to zero. I care not to take the time now to troubleshoot it. This Willys is about as close in appearance and original working condition to when it was new as one is likely to find outside of a museum. No, the paint is not original but done about two years ago by a show car body shop. The body is not flawless as I elected to preserve the car with its history of only the fewest of dings yet if it were flawless it would most surely not be driven for fear of scratching it. This is a user and cruiser. Solid throughout. I am pleased to answer any questions or send additional photos though do not waste my time if you are not seriously prepared to buy and I will not waste yours. Located in downtown Palouse adjacent to St. Elmos Hotel on Main Street directly across from the tavern. Available for viewing just about any time or day though please do not just stop by to do anything other than hands-off looking without an appointment. Please email with any questions or to set a viewing appointment as I am not usually near a phone.”

1959 Wagon June Lake Loop, Nv No Price

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

The sellers are interested in selling, but aren’t in a hurry due to the wagon’s location.

“We have a ’59 Jeep Wagon we would like to sell. This vehicle has less than 60K original miles. It is only used in the summer, when cabin is accessible, and is garaged all winter. We are trying to decide to sell vehicle up there, or haul it to the Bay Area and try to sell it for more. Vehicle has a clear title and has always been registered in CA. It is equipped with 6 cyl. flathead engine. It has been used for short 4-wheel trips in the area. the body is no cherry, NO major rust, just scrapes from hidden boulders, one rear fender dented pretty good, also has a couple broken windows, (glass is broken, not broken out, make sense?). Interior is in real good shape for its age. Vehicle is road worthy, however I would recommend trailering long distances. Has top speed of about 55-60 mph. Right now we’re looking for potential buyers, vehicle is not accessible at this time, Cabin will be opened Memorial Day weekend or weekend after. email offers please be reasonable. These are the only pics I can find for now. More can be made available in the next couple weeks I’m sure. Please be in no rush, as we don’t get up to the area often and transaction will have to be arranged in advance. I hope you understand.”
