It is listed as a 1954. Seller notes it has been parked for at least 8 years. Because the seller thinks it might be made to run pretty easily, he is listing it as a “running jeep”, but it does not in fact run.

It ran when it was parked on the property probably 8 to 10 years ago needed a starter and never got back up there to put one on due to deaths in my family so it has been sitting ever since.. “1948 Willys Jeep CJ2a. Mostly stock condition. Runs great! Engine, transmission, and powertrain are all very strong. Needs wiring work for the lights. This jeep has been well-cared for, and is in fantastic shape for a Willys that hasn’t been fully restored. Ready for use on the trails, or as a daily driver around town. “1948 Willys Jeep CJ2 mild custom. 350 with a mild cam, Rochester 4-barrel carb, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with Dualmatic overdrive, Dana 30 front axle with manual lockout hubs and a Dana 44 axle out back. Low mileage restoration, very clean inside, outside, top and bottom all metal fab done by previous owner and great attention to detail on every part! No rust at all, all steel body, two tops included (full top with doors and bikini), all canvas in great shape, interior in great shape as well. Tires, brakes and mechanicals in good working order, can drive anywhere at highway speeds! Also includes matching steel hood with fiberglass hood scoop and black high-back bucket racing seats. Small items that need attention: no fuel sending unit in fuel tank, so gas gauge does not work, 4WD works, but have not tested low range, no turn signals due to age, wiper motor is not hooked up. Price reflects the condition of vehicle. Don’t miss out on this solid, unique and fun ride!!!

“I am selling a 1946 jeep willys. It is a little rough but is a perfect start for someone who wants to fix something like this up. It has a Buick V6 engine in it that runs great but could use a little valve adjusting due to some smoke. Has a working heater since it did have a hard top on it at once. This Willys runs and drives. Has Saginaw steering box with chevy steering column. Could use some new tires soon as the ones on it were off a vehicle with bad alignment so wear is not so good. The do hold air and are drive able though. Has a dana 30 in the rear with the stock axle up front. Believe it has the stock gearing. 4×4 works and has Warn hubs up front. Has a aftermarket fuel cell that im guessing holds over 15 gallons mounted behind seats. Needs a little tlc and some normal maintenance but other than that its good to go. ”

Warn overdrive, locking hubs and a 1953 CJ3A Dana. 15″ x 14″ Weld wheels on Rancho RS 9000 shocks. The boxed and reinforced frame is engineered to flex without compromising strength and durability. The tilt column has wipers, hazard lights and headlights incorporated. Seats have a 4-point racing harness. Front lines are electric brake line lock and rear driveshaft E-brake mounted to the transfer case output. It has power steering, Auto-Meter pro comp gauges and an under seat heater.
