Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 CJ2A with stock drivetrain. 12 volt conversion with key start. Runs, Drives, shifts as it should. 4X4 works like it should. All levers shift smoothly. I drive it daily to work and it has just under 1300 miles on it since we finished out the build. I have clean and clear title in hand. Normandy Blue rust free tub with period correct Sunset Red factory solid wheels ( really orange.. don’t ask me lol it’s a jeep thing) wrapped in non directional period correct tires really make this Jeep stand out. Super classy and turns head and gets thumbs ups everywhere I go.”
