(01/30/2011) I thought this hood solution was an unusual way to deal with the longer frame.  I’m wondering if the frame is from a CJ-6?

“Selling my 1964 Jeep Willy X Flat Fender CJ-3A that has a new 390 V8 Offenhauser Engine. The engine has about 15,000 miles on it. It is a beast of an engine. You may want this jeep just for the Engine and parts to put into something you’re working on. this engine would be great for any hot rod or racing vehicle. The jeep is in great running condition and has alot of power. A great off road vehicle. It also looks really cool and has custom body work. I bought this jeep with the intent of driving it and fixing it up, but i haven’t had the money to do alot, i’ve done a few things, but it’s time to get something different to drive. I don’t want to put any more money into this jeep and second I need to get a different car. I have a family now and need something with doors lol. This jeep has power steering, tilt wheel, new dash with new dials, 3-speed transmission, locking hubs, nice rims with Pirelli tires. I’m asking for $2700 or best offer. I am also willing to take a vehicle trade. If you have something, show me and we’ll go from there. Cash is preferred though. Available to see anytime. Msg me for more info. “Custom built jeep with Myers snow plow. Only 3438 miles since being built. This jeep has a 1961 CJ5 frame with a 1957 CJ3b body. The engine is custom built from an AMC Matador and is around 300 Horsepower. Headers and dual exhausts with Glass pack mufflers (Sounds GREAT!) The drive train is out of a 1976 jeep CJ 5. It is a 3 speed manual transmission. locking Front hubs, also has power steering and brakes, Dual battery. Comes with tow bar. Will consider offers.”

” One (1) 1957 Willis Jeep. No title restriction. 4,288 actual miles. This vehicle starts and runs. Engine Condition: runs. No known repairs needed.Vehicle was removed from service on 12/04/02. Transmission: manual. Transmission Condition: operable. No known repairs needed. Drivetrain: 4 (four) wheel drive, condition unknown. Exterior: yellow, no cracked glass,minor scratches. Interior: black. Normal damage to seats,dashboard, and floor. No air condition. This vehicle has been kept in a building out of the weather elements since it was removed from service. This looks in good shape, though the floor carpet makes it hard to evaluate the floor.

“1953 Jeep Willys CJ3B.  Great running reliable Jeep willys originally purchased by US Navy for base use as depicted on plaque installed on dash. Not a show quality vehicle but not a rust bucket and no areas needing to be addressed. Original color was orange for naval base use to identify allied vehicles. Used on weekends with my kids for parades, jeep events, and beach trips. It has a great running 4 cylinder with manual transmission .Starts right up every time,no leaks, Has tow bar, 4 Wheel drive works as it should with no mechanical issues whatsoever. Tires installed within last year.  Has spare tire not mounted. Hard top can be removed and comes with alternate windshield and glass. Seat covers are like new. Interior has been completely covered in soundproofing to reduce exterior noise. All lights, blinkers, turn signals, radio, work perfectly.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle just not being used enough to justify keeping. Classic insurance is only 85.00 per year and qualifies for classic QQ tags and registration.”

“1947 WILLYS JEEP All original metal cab, 3 speed transmission, NEW Engine- Totally Rebuilt 4 Cylinder Overhead Ford, This rebuild cost me $4,000. New Drive line, New Radial Tires. The body is straight!! No Dents Or Dings….. This jeep also has a tow bar so you are able to take it anywhere. “I have a 1953 Willys CJ3B Jeep, it is in Good/Fair condition. I bought it in 2009 and drove it for a year than parked it in storage to work on it. The rest is history. I changed the oil, greased all joints, and changed the fluid in both diffs. It needs a full restoration if you wanna go that route.

134 c.i. OHV 4 cylinder, 3 spd. manual with twin stick transfer case
Dana 20 front axle, Dana 44 rear axle
This vehicle does not run but the engine is not seized up, I removed the rear drive shaft so it can be moved. It needs more than I can give it and I hate to let it go, but I’d rather see someone else driving it on the road, than have it sitting in front of my house.”

“great running Willys Jeep. I drive it nearly every day…everything mechanically is sound. This jeep does have a Navy Tag, and I believe that might make it slightly more limited, and more valuable. There is a separate wind shield that comes with the jeep and also have extra newer modern tires and rims. Also have front end tow attachment. The body is in OK shape, there is some paint flaking in spots. Its a fun vehicle and head turner, ready for year round driving”
