The body is pretty shot, but there could be value here given the half cab (Koenig?).

“1959 WILLYS CJ3 JEEP ( NO TRADES ) RESTORE PROJECT (NOT RUNNING ) · KOEING EXTENSION AND DUMPING BED · Other_body_style · Driven 150,000 miles OVER HEAD VALVE 4 CYLINDER ORIGINAL ENGINE WITH A REBUILT HEAD. THE BOTTOM END WILL NEED REBUILT . A lot of new parts … new seats , some wiring , fuel pump , hoses , spark plugs . CLEAR COLORADO TITLE . FOUR WHEEL DRIVE , ALL ORIGINAL DRIVE LINE. No rust though body . This is a unrestored original little jeep that has not been on the road for decades . I have not tried to start or run the engine , it may start and run but would probably have low compression . The brakes will need gone though . At least adding brake fluid and bled . “1956? Jeep Willys, inline 4 cylinder. The Jeep will not crank but does not appear to be locked up in any way. The wheels turn, the gears shift, and the steering wheel turns. The engine does not appear to be locked up but that cannot be verified. Most all of the parts of the vehicle appear to be there but many parts are loose. The ignition is not wired up. No keys. The battery is 1-2 years old. A 1-2 year old wiring harness will be provided but is not installed. The tires hold air but not sure for how long. This needs to be hauled away on a trailer. It is sold as-is. There is no title. A bill of sale will be written to the buyer in person at our local bank once the funds are deposited into our bank account. This is a restoration project vehicle. It does not run and will take a lot of work to get it road ready. The price is firm, no other offers will be responded to. No trades. I hope this finds a good home with someone who can restore it. It has good bones, it just needs a lot of work to get it running again”
This is listed on eBay. It appears to have Watson Hubs. Note the slats on the hood.

“So, this has been in my family for quite a while. Believe my great grandpa ‘created’ this back in the 80’s and would mainly use it as a hunting vehicle. To my understanding mostly all the exterior is fiberglass, cab space is mainly sheet metal, engine and chassis are from an old jeep (willys jeep or jeep CJ) sometime in the 1940’s-60’s. Price is OBO, if you think you have any info on the chassis and engine based on the pictures let me know, I would like to learn more about it myself. Have the cylinder head and other parts but are in kind of rough shape as you could assume”
The current bid price on this one is $600 with 5 days left.

“$7,000 O.B.O. 1960 Jeep CJ3B. VERY solid and clean for the year. Hat channels are corroded but tub is solid. Frame is solid as can be. Period correct: WARN OVERDRIVE!!!, WARN BELLEVIEW WINCH, WILLYS SPOTLIGHT, KOENIG BODY EXTENSION. Runs and drives great. Cranks up every time. Can drive anywhere. 4X4 works great. Gets more attention than anything else on the road. Good condition Firestone 6.0X16 tires. CLEAR TITLE. Everything works except speed indicator(odometer does work) fuel and temp gauge and rear running lights(brake lights work).
Lots of new parts: Distributor, Carburetor, Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Spare Tire, Muffler, Starter Solenoid, Bikini Top, FULL COMPLETE TOP BOW KIT($700), BRAND NEW 12V WIPER KIT(not installed), Air Tube, Oil Filter. ALL FLUIDS CHANGED, ALL DRIVE FLUIDS CHANGED WITH CORRECT GREEN METAL SAFE GEAR OIL($400 job).
The tub sides have been “overlapped” from the doors back, but the original tub is good. I believe this was done for strengthening as tub is solid”

“Looking to sell this Willys. It is a 1953 CJ3B. It was running but now isn’t getting spark so I have ordered a distributor rebuild kit and will continue to try to get going again. Tires are mismatched and have dry rot but hold air. Tub is rough but has been patched and is usuable. Frame has surface rust but looks to be solid. Looks to be all there and has a clean Kentucky title. Has new brake lines, carb, newer wiring and battery and maybe a couple small things I’m forgetting. Located in Hyden KY and willing to help with shipping. Looking for 5500 or best offer. No trades.”
