This includes a working set of Thor Electronic Hubs (and the first pic I’ve seen of the switch to engage the hubs). These are the “Lectro-Matic” version of the hubs (there was also an automatic version). Dan documented a set of the “Lectro-Matric” hubs here.

“Anyone looking for the coolest 62 Jeep CJ5 on the planet. I got this handsome little guy up for sale. It’s beyond amazing! Everything works, every light, all gauges, the chrome winch ect…oh and there’s chrome all over the place. Original paint, Original interior.. both are in incredible condition. It’s a very unique Jeep and it’s running a Corvette engine that was installed by the original owner in the mid sixties.He was a aircraft mechanic so everything is perfect .It also has very rare Thor electronic locking front hub set . No rust anywhere and super straight. I have the those crazy off road wide white wall tires in the pics and the hubcaps. I just threw on a new set of Power King black walls to drive it around. The Jeep runs amazing! It’s got really good power and not geared that low. I have not taken it on the freeway but got it up to 60mph with no issues. This is a very special Jeep with history. “For sale is a very nice example of an unmolested early Willys Jeep CJ5. Its a 1957 with just over 14,000 original miles.. Starts, runs, drives, and stops as it should. This would be an incredible piece to do a full restoration on or just enjoy the originality and patina of it and hop in and go just like it is. That was my original intention on this one, just to address a few of the minor rust spots and enjoy it just like it is and was meant to be.”

1977 CJ5. Former North Carolina forest service truck. Factory green under fleet green. 1/2 hardtop. Restored 60/40 bench seat. New Corbeau rear seat. 5 seat belts. 300 miles on gateway mudders. New Alcan Springs. New black Max shocks. New NAPA radiator and hoses, old modine radiator in good shape included. Replaced when I replaced thermostat. New M.O.R.E steering bracket and Borgeson steering shaft. New lower steering column bearing. New battery and starter cables. In process of switching cables to military connectors to wire in winch. “Meet Daisy! A fantastic and rare 1973 Super Jeep.
Only produced for a couple months in 1973, the Super Jeep was an appearance package created due to a lack of a supply of aluminum wheels needed to produce the Renegade models. The Super Jeep is highly recognizable by it’s outrageous Peter Max – like decal package, white steel wheels, curved chrome front bumper, two tone interior and upholstered white padded dash.
Only 300 Super Jeeps were produced, with only a few handfuls surviving today. The majority of the 300 Super Jeeps produced were made in White or Blue with a few others in more rare colors like this one in Daisy Yellow. Continue reading

“1962 Jeep CJ5 Universal, 4 cyl, 3 speed manual 4wd. Equipped with Rancho shocks and an old but excellent working Ramsey winch. 16 inch wheels & tires are in awesome condition. Clutch and fuel tank have also been replaced. There is some paint bubbling starting to show on the front fenders. Jeep runs and drives great, very fun and certainly a head turner. Maury shared this nicely restored CJ-5, but it it’s not cheap. This also appears to have some rare Cutlas Bulldog hubs.
“Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this fully restored 1959 Willys Jeep CJ-5. After WWII, Willys smartly capitalized on the success of their military Jeeps and began producing a ”Civilian Jeep” – or CJ – and the rest is history. This ”Universal Jeep,” as it was marketed at the time, was a huge hit and over 600,000 CJ-5s were produced from 1954 to 1983 – but few have been restored to this standard.
This CJ-5 was used as a grounds service vehicle for a drive-in movie theater in Cleveland, Ohio before being discovered and purchased in 2010 by a gentleman who embarked on a frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration to exacting standards. The original tub was deemed to be too far gone to practically restore so a new steel tub was sourced from Willys-Overland Motors in Toledo, OH. The original fenders, hood, grille and windshield frame were in good condition and were retained for originality. The frame was media blasted and detailed. The correct President Red paint is excellent outside, inside and under the hood and the body is super straight.

This looks in good shape, though it does have a few mods. Has anyone ever seen dual tank inlets light the ones on the rear of this jeep? (At least I think those are gas inlets).

Tom shared this low-mileage CJ-5. It has a documented history. Seats have been changed to cloth (read story), so at first they look worn, but it’s just the type of material. Overall, it seems in great shape.

“This CJ5 is all original. It has only 39,359 miles. Runs very well and has been driven a couple times a month. The original owner was a lady. I bought it from her in 2014. I replaced the radiator, fuel tank, shocks, leaf springs, heater core, tires, and gave it a tune-up. I only did this to maintain this jeeps integrity and dependability going forward.
Paint is excellent and shines as new. There is some noticeable wear after 43 years. I have taken it to local car shows and everyone is amazed at its condition. The hardcore car enthusiasts tell me over and over to do nothing more to this jeep. It has a documented story, it’s in rare shape, and is shows and runs amazingly well.
This is perfect for the individual wanting a daily driveable jeep or just a weekly joy ride without having to work on it first. It needs nothing mechanically. It is sound and fun to just putt-putt in.
I have a brown soft top, roll bar, rear mounted spare tire rack and owners manual. I also have the poster I had made telling a brief history of the jeep that I use at the shows.”

“1960 Willy’s Jeep is mostly all Original, New Electric Fuel Pump, New OEM Muffler, New (4) Brake Cyl’s and Shoes, Recent Oil Change w / Synthetic Oil. Speedometer not working (mileage unknown). It has had a valve job in 1989. I installed two 3 Point Safety Belts, Turn Signal Switch, and Drivers side electric windshield wiper. The top is a makeshift top I constructed just to keep the rain and snow off but needs to be upgraded. I am asking 7200.00 OBO .
I purchased this Jeep last year and I am the second owner.
I am selling it because I am 74 yo and it is difficult for me to get in and out of it. Also I am a large man and I am not comfortable driving it.
I just returned from Moab Ut. and the Jeep is still on the trailer.”

T90 transmission, Dana 18 transfer case. F134 motor. Last year of the Willys Jeep. Originally came from California so very little rust if any. 17,900 original miles. I have driven this Jeep all over Montana, and Nevada. It does not have the top, but one can be purchased with doors for around $900.00. Also included is a custom quick release tow bar.”
