UPDATE: Price dropped to $12,500.
(09/26/2013) This jeep has an unusually customized dash. The louvered rear and hood give it a different look as well.
“I’m selling my recently restored 1963 Jeep. I love this thing but it is simply not practical for me. I run around way to much with work. This jeep runs like new and everything works. No squeeking, no dents, it’s like new. There are a few minor nicks in the paint but nothing major. I shipped this down from the states back in April. It has 1900 miles on it since being restored. It has Bluetooth retro sound stereo with kicker speakers. Perfect island ride. Turns lots of heads. Handles hills no problem. I have taken very good care of this jeep. I hate to sell it but I’m buying another trick and I can’t keep 3 vehicles. I’m asking $13,500 Serious inquiries only please. 340.626.9308”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000.

UPDATE: This sold for $6250 on eBay.
Dave’s selling his low mileage, stock CJ-5 Trencher. This will make a great vehicle for someone. I got a chance to look at this during our trip this past summer. It was a bit dustier then.
“I’ve been chasing Jeep vehicles for several decades and this is the nicest, lowest mileage, most original Jeep I’ve ever run across – especially considering that is will be FIFTY years old next year!
If you can find a 1964 CJ-5 with fewer miles, more original, and with more factory options on it – then buy it and not this one…
This Jeep was originally purchased by a local Steel company for the sole purpose of installing a sprinkler system in a golf course that they owned. I was told that oncethat task was completed it pretty much simply just stayed in the company garage of vehicles being
driven occaisionally and inspected each year! I’ve owned it for probably fifteen or twenty years now and am not able to enjoy it as I should be doing so its time to find it a new home. As the new owner, you’ll be only the third owner of this FIFTY year old Jeep and “Bubba” never had his hands on this one to mess it all up!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200.
This might be worth a look. It looks pretty stock.
“All Original, no longer need. 2nd owner, had for 42 years. Runs, need work, asking $2200 or BRO. 60,498 original miles. Records kept since 1971. Cash only.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.

It’s a project that might be worth a look.
“I am selling a 1963 Willy CJ-5. This is an all original Jeep that I have owned and rebuilt.
I bought it from a farm in Northborough, MA several years ago and did a basic restoration. I wanted to decorate it in US Navy style and researched how Navy Jeeps were painted to have her decorated as a military Jeep. Navy Jeeps were a little different than the ones the Army used but helped the Navy & Marines get where they needed to go.
I have been unable to drive it lately and would like to sell her to someone who appreciates it as much as I do. She drives like a basic jeep and starts right up. She has been sitting for the past few years while I was overseas. She needs a little TLC so I want to state this is not a showroom condition vehicle.
I cut off all the rusty metal and redid the floors when I rebuilt her…..She is road worthy but still could use some final touches to make her even better. She is in need of a tune-up and the muffler has seen better days…..Overall I would rate her as a condition “3” on a scale from 1 -5.
I have driven her around the local area and all who saw her were thrilled to see a 50 yr old original jeep riding around town.
I have made sure that she is “all original ” and only added parts that were original to the Jeep. No aftermarket add-ons or other accessories. She runs strong and has lots of life in her.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.

(05/30/2013) This looks nice.
“1970 Jeeo Renegade I. First year of the Renegade, only 250 units were produced. AMC bought the Willy’s Jeep and wanted everyone to own one instead of just selling them to the military. They painted them brilliant colors, put lots of chrome on them and the rest is history. I bought it from a gentleman that had it for 32 years. It was his “baby”. It has the dauntless V-6 engine, over 200,000 miles but still runs great, 3 speed transmission with a manual overdrive. I have a hardtop and a new soft top for the vehicle. Asking $10,000.
Gary contacted me tonight to ask if I knew which year of jeep body my father used for his CJ-5 rebuild. It was a good question I didn’t know. I’d never studied the Renegade stripes. My research was not exhaustive on this, so please feel free to correct any mistakes.
Based on my review, I believe my Dad’s body came from a 1974 CJ-5. I started with the below picture.
I looked up 1971 and 1972 bodies. During those years the Renegade had a straight stripe that didn’t drop over the side of the cowl as you can see below:
In 1973 the renegade had a straight back, then drop-angled stripe:
In 1974, the stripe fell straight as seen in these photos:
Possible Late 1974 Style? Notice how the name drops lower. This stripe is being sold on eBay as a 1974/1975 style.
Here’s another example, though this jeep was listed as a 1973 (can’t find the original link). It may actually have been a 1974:
Here’s another jeep listed as a 1974:
In 1975, the style changed to one that dropped, then went straight back.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was listed at $600.
This shouldn’t last long. It’s got an overdrive and it runs! If it were near me I’d buy it.
“1955 Willy’s Jeep with 44,739 original miles. Quite a collector’s item. The engine number is 4J94860 and the vin number is 5754818451. An overdrive has been added to the drive train. It has the original 4 cylinder motor and runs. The carburetor has been rebuilt including a new accelerator pump. It has new spark plugs, a new battery, and the tires are in good shape. $600. OBO. If the new owner wished to keep the original 4-cylinder motor, he may want to install a new fuel pump.”
Buz spotted this poor old rusty jeep.
“4×4 4 cyl 104,000 miles don’t know if it runs haven’t tried and not going to try it the motor is fully in tack serious offers only call 1-828-577-2009”

“1968 CJ 5 Jeep, This Jeep is in very nice condition and is set up for serious off road travel, clear Oregon title with 2014 tags, Buick V-6, T-18 4 speed transmission, Warn Overdrive, after market commercially produced boxed frame, stainless steel headers, dual exhaust, electric fan, power steering with radiator cooler, roll bar, double shocks, lifted, set up with tow bar for easy movement, second set of Super Swamper tires on chrome wheels.”
It runs, thought it needs a few parts. The rust might be minimal given the top.
“1953 CJ3A Jeep Willys
You will see in the photos this thing is completely original from tires to glass, to the paint and top. The only added feature I am aware of is a tubular steel roll cage that was added. This Jeep was kept in a barn for roughly 20 years. It would be a great Willys Restore Project due to it all being there.
The price for this Jeep is $$1750 OBO. Cash Only Please. This Jeep needs an ignition switch rebuild, a starter solenoid, a battery and two battery terminal cable connections to run. We carb started it when the battery and solenoid were still attached and it cranked within 5 minutes!.
