“1956 WILLYS JEEP DJ3A . 87767 original miles. This is a running WELL KEPT 1956 dj3a jeep willys, clear title, paint wiring engine transmission gauges rims everything IN GOOD CONDITION, new battery and,12 volts system which works great, upholstery in good condition. This is a time capsule, stored for more than 35+ years, expect scratches here and there, no doors.Someone just pointed out that this jeep may have been the exclusive soft top or convertible fastback, why? because the top of the windshield frame has a set of buttons or snaps suggesting that a cover top could be attached there, this jeep doesn’t have the frames or canvas”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown**
(08/19/2019) The DJ-3A speedo, heater, ignition switch (looks original), and t-handle parking brake could be of interest to someone.

This appears to be a DJ-3A with the slanted opening. I wonder how much weight that wood adds. The rear fuel inlet is not longer in the back, so I wonder how you fill it with fuel (maybe it’s just sitting in the rear?).
“1960 Custom Willy’s JEEP. Multiple award winner and one of a kind. You will never see another like it at any car show. Body panels covered in wood and done with great care by a master wood worker. Custom interior with lots of wood trim. New lay down windshield.

There’s some value here (hubs, rims, p-brake and possibly others). The body is a later model DJ-3a body with the side vent.

“1964 Willys CJ3A for sale. Kaiser Jeep Corporation This is a highly modified Jeep from CA built for serious off-road use but is still a very nice vehicle. It can crawl off-road and still cruise down the highway at 70+ mph. With short wheel base 55 seems like a better idea though. Frame and Body are rust free and in great shape. The list of modification is:
1. CJ3A Body came from a DJ3A (two wheel drive). Restored 11 years ago white exterior with Rhino Lining inside. Assembled after painting and spraying the liner so a very clean look.
2. Driveline
a. Chevrolet V8 with aluminum radiator
b. SM 420 4 speed transmission with 7.0:1 granny gear
c. Dana Spicer 20 Transfer Case Twin Stick
d. Dana 44 rear axle I am not positive on front axle model

“Jeep project. This is a 1965 titled as a DJ3A. I was told it was a UN Jeep originally. Presently has a Chevy 283 that starts and runs well. The running gear is the military 4WD with bumperettes and pintle hitch. Previous owner removed the brakes to upgrade to disc but never finished. It will need a master cylinder and brakes on all four wheels. The original brakes are with it and could be put back to original very easily. It is a roller with nice Crome wheels and decent tires. I am moving and lost my shop or it would not be for sale. Please only text if seriously interested.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
This appears to be a Dj-3A convertible with 4WD added.

“Great project Jeep. I can see that it’s a 4 cylinder, but not familiar with old Jeeps, so no idea on engine size. All engine parts and transmission are in place, but take a good look at pictures. Solid body and frame, best I can tell. Floor pans and bed still there, no rust holes. Tailgate fine, no cracks in windshield. The title says the body style is “LL”, but I can’t find any such bird. From my research, it looks like a “DJ-3A”, so that’s how I described it. Sold as is, buyer has to come get it or arrange for shipping.
On Mar-08-19 at 18:44:18 PST, seller added the following information:
After receiving a few good questions about the Jeep, I have a little more information. New pictures of the odometer and ID tag have been added. Best I can tell, the serial number is 56337 11093. The odometer reads 16610.1. It may have rolled over, but this is what it reads now. But you never know, cuz it’s exactly as old as I am, and I’ve rolled over many times! Since it’s been sitting in the same spot for 8-9 years, the tires have settled into the dirt several inches. That said, I looked over the frame best I could, and it looks straight, with no cracks or welds where they don’t belong. Although I have the title in hand, I haven’t located the keys yet. Hopefully I’ll find them by the time one of yall show up to pick it up. Good luck, and thanks!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3400.
(03/03/2019) It’s been modified into 4WD. It has the rare 0-8 KS speedometer.

Mike spotted this 1960s photo on Facebook. It shows some DJ-3A Dispatchers doing pizza delivery work for Volcano Pizzeria, a North New Jersey pizza place in the 1960s. Mike notes there were a lot of pizza jeeps in the area at the time.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Starting bid was $6500, no reserve.
(02/09/2019) This looks to be a nicely updated DJ-3A with 4WD.

Totally rust Free and no dents.
The Vin number matches the title and registration.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200.
The 0-8 speedometer, windshield, tail lights, and some other parts look original. It’s been converted to 4WD axles. This is 50 units after my DJ-3A Rusty.
“Willys 1956 dj-3a with title. This willys is very complete for it’s age.
I am willing to trade for a 1976-1983 Jeep CJ5.
This Willys started life as a 2wd. Prior owner cut out firewall and welded in a firewall from a 4wd. Front and rear axles are both from a 4wd M38.
Front and rear axle/diffs are complete. It rolls really well. This is a roller. No engine, transmission, or transfer case. I never had them.
I have owned this for 5 years and still have not gotten around to fully restoring it. I am slowly doing work to it though.
I repaired and reinstalled the original front bumper a couple days ago. The bumper is painted in primer. The rear bumper is new and is painted in primer as well.
