“1960’s GAZ 69 , Runs and drives, the motor has been replaced with a Jeep Hurricane motor. I have owned it for 5 years . It also comes with another parts vehicle. call with any questions. It does not have a title because nh does not require one. I can get an antique title issued if one is needed. Sold as is”
Craig spotted this one. Looks like a good price.
“REALLY COOL OLD JEEP – Clean Title
Runs & Drives Great, Excellent Candidate for Restoration.
Rebuilt 327 Vigilante AMC Motor w/ less than 500 miles, Automatic Transmission. Body has only 25K original miles on it, as it was used at a hunt camp and was only driven sporadically over the years. Floorboards & Frame are in Excellent condition, the Interior is in Good condition (7 out of 10).
This is a Beautiful Vehicle at a Great Price….wish I had the time to restore it.”
Mark’s selling this 1970 Topeka Hiway Mower/Snow plow. Contact him for more information: 419-563-4002. Here’s a similar Topeka model with a snow plow for comparison.
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2000.
(02/24/2017) Not running at the moment. Lots of custom here.
“1974 assembled vehical, this Jeep was assembled to be our sand Jeep we just don’t have time for it, ran last two years ago, we did try to start it this weekend it turns over no problem doesn’t stay running my guess a fuel pump issue. Or needs a stronger battery.
This is a cj5 frame with an aluminium skin over a cj3a style tub, it has a Buick v8 nail head motor with a msd ignition, 205 transfer case, turbo 350 transmission, Chevy 1/2 axles, Dana 44 in front 12 bolt rear axle.
Needs the drive line put in still. Has poly high back race seats, B&M ratchet shifter. Many parts, will make some one a great Jeep once it’s finished, has turn signals and lights if you wanted to take it down the road and a tilt steering wheel.”
John shared this link. This unusual vehicle was listed for auction, but the auction ended yesterday. I know nothing about this vehicle or the accuracy of the information below.

Mark posted this nice looking Gladiator.
“I have one of the cleanest, most loaded original Gladiators left. This is a 1966 2 owner from California. Rebuilt original Vigilante 327 w receipt. Factory Air conditioning (complete but not charged as I would never use it). Factory Chrome PTO winch and bumper (works). Factory 4wd indicator lights under dash. Absurdly clean original bed floor as it had a camper in it. Fully blasted and painted w no body work bed. Runs and drives well. Bad Dana 53 rear professionally replcaed w correct geared Dana 60 by original owner. Original interior in far better than expected condition. Original owners manual included. More photos on Rudy’s CJs website.”
Glenn spotted this unusual vehicle.
“It is hard to determine what type of vehicle this is – a truck, or an SUV, or something special. It is a one of a kind. Its foldable tarp roof makes it a great summer vehicle, strong heater warms it up nicely in winter time. Its fuel economy is phenomenal for a 4×4 vehicle – around 33 MPG.
In 1979 LUAZ was recognized as one of the best vehicles for country dwellers at an International automotive exhibition in Czech Republic. Indeed, LUAZ was intended to be a vehicle of choice for countryside and people living there – foresters, farmers. However, throughout almost 40 years of production, only slightly over 200,000 vehicles were made. This is one of the reasons why this car is so rare.
This 1990 LUAZ 969M is a one-owner vehicle (you can still see original USSR plates on it) that has been rarely used, never involved in any accidents, and never winter driven. All this is very rare for a 4×4 vehicle that was built to go fishing and hunting all year round. A very unique find! Despite its age, it is in like-new condition, and it will take you to numerous outdoor trips, to the most remote places.
Almost 25 years ago, we at AlphaCars, established the highest imaginable standards for the quality of our pre-owned vehicles. With no deviation, these standards are maintained today. With no exceptions, each pre-owned vehicle has to pass a rigorous technical inspection followed by the most thorough service work and concourse level detailing. ”

(02/05/2017) Craig spotted this rare panel wagon.
“Extremely RARE, 1967 1968 Kaiser Jeep Panelwagon, Panel delivery wagon, wagoneer. This has a military history as a audio visual vehicle on Fort Knox. It was refurbished about 20 years ago. The original engine which is still in it, seized about 10 years ago and has been inside storage ever since. The last year it has been outside under cover. It is a 4 X 4
What makes this extremely RARE is the barn doors in the back, not a tailgate like a grand wagoneer Etc.
The body is showing it’s age and perhaps some bondo. The interior is all original and in need of sprucing up.
This Jeep is a fantastic candidate for a full restoration, and would be a very unique addition to a jeep collection. These barn door panel wagons are super super rare and unique.
This vehicle has no title at the I was unable to aquiring a title /papers from the previous owner. The previous owner has passed away from Indiana.
Please contact me with any questions. I may be flexible on the price. I will be advertising this on other jeep for sale sites very soon, so get to it while you can.
I will consider reasonable offers”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was No Price.
It’s not clear to me, but if appears the seller has invested $65,000 into this rig?

Over 35k invested in that as well. I have all receipts. 3 inches thick. Use as a Land Cruiser Range Rover Jeep recovery vehicle.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,000.
(11/17/2016) I don’t know what these are worth, but sure looks interesting.
“Land Rover 2a 1963. Right Hand Drive. 2.4 liter petrol motor with 4 speed. Completely restored 3 years ago from bare chassis. Engine, gearbox and transfer rebuild. Less than 1000 miles driven since restoration. Capstan winch and Toro overdrive.
Vehicle started its life as a cab chassis and delivered to the Australian Government. It has had a total of 3 owners
The gearbox was completely pulled apart and checked. New bearings and bushes, new gears where needed, and new synchro’s. The main shaft was professionally set up due to the need to get the shimming right.
The engine was pulled down to a bare block, new bearings, and bushes etc. new rings. The bore was checked to make sure it had not been bored out and new pistons used. The head was taken to a shop and new hardened valve seats put in to allow regular unleaded to be used. The head was set up by them with new springs. Car starts up first time every time and runs great.
Clean Texas title and registration”
Maybe some value here?
“It’s a Mudd toy no motor look at pictures”

Rudy’s selling this rare purpose-built APU on a jeep chassis.
“Very Rare 1953 limited production 4X4 specially built for the U.S Military by O.E Szekely and Associates. This is an all aluminum body, tub, fenders, and hood so theres no cost for rust rot work and repair . Dual Aluminum gas tanks so theres no need to worry about rusted out tanks. The Chassis is Jeep. The engine is a Lincoln (ford) 317 V8. This is not Frankensteined, this is the original way it was built for the Navy to jump start, run system checks, and tow jets. Do not have the generator equipment. does not run and is for restoration or customize purposes. As is where is. Unique, rare and easily bad ass potential. Add seats, swap motor, take the paint off and pollish the aluminum body, run through the chassis. pink on hand. first $3600 obo takes it.”

“1981 Jeep scrambler

has new clutch needs to be adjusted = not running
needs new gas line
Super Swampers 33.5×15.50
Minor rust
Starts like a match.
Jack found this CJ-8 project.
“ffered reluctlantly is one of my preferred projects a 1982 unadulterated Jeep Scrambler cj8, unfortunately my lungs no longer agree with restoration projects. As much as I love other classics there definately is a “Jeep Thing” which runs through ones veins even Enzo Ferrari gave the Jeep honorable mention. This Jeep Scrambler is definately a basket case which can be a good thing if you know how to restore these but it is all here plus and extra period correct running motor. Please note EXTRA motor as the original [in pieces] is there.
The interior is in excellent shape no rips tears dents or paint, the top a bit faded but also in good shape. Floors are rusted, exterior body good for this state but some rust, frame some rust. Engine in pieces but spare engine comnes with for parts or drop in while you rebuild the other. The pricey scramblers ones 30,000 and up appear to be the unadulterated one as you would expect and I have seen nothing but these going up as less than 25000 were made. Well this scrambler has NOT been lifted, stretched, widened, chopped, had a chevy v8 dropped in [nor any other motor for that fact] made into a rock crawler a mud bogger or anything other than a JEEP SCRAMBLER that is why I bought it.”

“1953 Hudson jet only made in 53 and 54 has a flathead Willy’s that turns over, needs new floors and rockers but can be found on eBay”
UPDATE:**SOLD**
(11/06/2016) Needs some work. There aren’t many of these around.
“This is a second, project unit that I have for sale.
1984 AMC Jeep CJ8 Alaskan postal version (right hand drive!!!). It has an inline 258 6-cylinder and is an automatic (very rare for older jeeps) 4×4. Floor shift with floor-mounted, hand-operated emergency brake. This Jeep is a project Jeep. Runs and lot drives, but wouldn’t trust it for longer trips currently. There is significant rust-triugh in the driver’s side (RH) floor and above the wheel wells in the tub. The Top and doors are solid. As with most Postals, the frame is rust-free.

UPDATE: Sold. Listed as a Struck Mini Beep, this looks to me more like a modified Roof Palomino.
Blaine spotted this rare Mini Beep Struck.
“This is a really hard to find Struck Mini Beep. These were built by the Struck company that is famous for making the little bulldozers that you could buy as a kit. Today they are called Magna Tracks. This one has been modified some. It is a really neat little Jeep. It articulates in the middle to turn. It is four wheel drive. It runs good but could use a couple of new belts. I collect old garden tractors and so it does not really fit so I am passing it on to someone else to enjoy it. ”
This pink surrey-like vehicle looks fun. A blue version of this same vehicle and same year sold for $27,500 at a Barret-Jackson auction.
“Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this eye-catching 1974 Volkswagen Type 181… aka, the Volkswagen Thing. With looks somewhere between an Army Jeep and a Volkswagen Beetle, the Volkswagen Thing already stands out, but this particular example was built to look like the ultra-rare Acapulco Edition. These cars were built in very low numbers but they are instantly recognizable, and that Caribbean look is transferred to this 1974 Volkswagen Thing Acapulco Edition Tribute with a two-tone pink-and-white paint job, matching interior and the Surrey soft top. If a canvas roof isn’t quite your style, though, this car also comes with a full open-side hard top and removable roll bars. Powering this 1974 Volkswagen Thing is a rear-mounted 1,584-cc horizontally opposed and air-cooled four-cylinder, and this engine is backed by a four-speed manual gearbox. Drop the top, remove the doors and flip down the windshield, and this 1974 Volkswagen Thing is a perfect beach cruiser, parade vehicle or show car!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3900.
Not quite a daily driver. Has some drive train updates.
“Up for sale is a 1965 jeep Wagoneer. Got this as a project, but i am buying a house so it is time to let it go. You don’t see a lot of the early wagoners anymore. It runs and drives, but needs a few things to be a driver. Paint looks good from 10-15ft, has a little rust, but a solid running gear. Here are the specs:
Fresh 283 sbc with mild cam and headers
Mustang Boss 302 top loader 4-speed
Stock Dana 20 transfer case
Dana 60 power locker rear end
Dana 44 front axle with disc brakes
Hurst shifter
Clean Oregon Title
Will need exhaust, tires, and a few misc. things to make it a daily driver.
This may be worth a look.
“1983 Jeep Scrambler 4.2L motor with 47,xxx original miles, T4 trans, 300 transfer case. Dana 30 front, amc 20 rear wide track axles with 4.88 gears. Rear has spider gears welded. 33″ tires. Small lift. New fuel lines, brake lines, lots of new parts. Bikini top. Hard doors and tailgate available but rough. ”
Glenn spotted this unusual Puegot, at least unusual in America. It doesn’t look quite as nice as the one on Wikipedia. Some of the black trim may have been painted on white on this vehicle.
“For Sale is a very unique Peugeot P4 freshly imported from France. These are very rare in the US. This vehicle was refurbished in France for a UN contract. Mechanically perfect with approximately 14,000 miles (22,626 kilometers). It is essentially a Mercedes G-wagon with a Peugeot 505 diesel motor and 4 speed transmission.”
