“Very rare 1950 flat nose Willys Pickup. My wife calls it “The Bootlegger”. This body style was only made for 3 years. The engine is a running 1952 Studebaker Champion 170 inline 6. Front differential is a Dana 25 and Dana 53 in rear. The tags show the gear ratio as 4:88. Three speed manual transmission with twin stick transfer case. Pickup has a spring over axle lift on it so it sets tall.
The interior has the original seat that need re-upholstered, original door panels in good condition, original arm rests, push button door release, and the one original sun visor on the drivers side.

“Vintage 47 Jeep Willys Pickup Truck. Great Looking Willy. 4 speed trans. Great Tires..
Worked Great Last Summer, Wont start now. needs a little love to get started. This Jeep Willys is perfect for someone looking to add to their Willys Collection. Might Consider Trade of Convertible”
Tim forwarded this ad for help. The owner doesn’t know what type of truck it is. He notes the cab is a convertible and the quality of work is good, so good it looks factory. I think it’s likely a 1960s truck that’s been modified. The rear window is small, but not shaped like early trucks.
“Any jeep/willys experts out there?
Im trying to figure out what this barn find is? I’ve searched around some web sites with no luck.
It has the small rear window like an early willys, but a 1 piece windshield like a later one.
It also has a convertible roof that appears factory, but I can’t find any info on it.
If you can help, please give me a call or send me a text
Thanks for your help.”
