“1946 WIllys Woody Street Rod /RAT ROD
Has a 455 4bbl and factory Edelbrock highriser from a Trans AM with headers and cherry bombs, 400 th transmission. Engine starts and runs ok but it needs new wires and a tune up. Tank probably should be cleaned. Has a Firebird sub frame with the disc brakes and power steering etc. Has a moon roof from a Cadillac installed and it works and looks good Power windows(glass needs installed) tilt wheel new wiring and dolphin gauges installed, genie shifter and e brake. All new BFG Tires and NEW Corvette Ralleys. I have 5 miles on the wheels and tires. New brakes and rear wheel cyls. Comes with vintage air set up not installed including the compressor Extra parts come with it.
This is a one of a kind 46 Willys station wagon. The roof was chopped 4 ½ inches. The rear windows were filled in and then the wood was applied. This car is not finished the interior needs done and at this point not ready for the street. Does run and stops. Needs a tune up, and the wiring for the lighting needs to be finished all the wiring is new and here just not completed.
This car is not a show queen it was done in the 80’s and driven as a shop truck then. It is definitely a 20footer It was parked and I bought it in 98 and it has been in my garage ever since. It looks good the paint shines, has some rust spots.
Extra parts go with it. SURF BOARD INCLUDED
Needs TLC to get it back to decent driveable condition.
I don’t need to sell it just looking to move on so don’t waste my time with any low ball offers.Will have to be trailered.

“I have a 1959 Willys with 70000 plus miles. It has the original super hurricane flat six in it. the suspension on it is brand new along with the complete wiring harness, and new exhaust pipes from the manifold back.
It is 4X4 and has a PTO winch on the front. the transmission is a T-90 with a Dana 18 transfer case the front axle is Dana 25 and rear is Dana 44. It is a project it has rust i don’t have the time or the money any more since we are adding to our family. The willy’s is pretty complete I’m asking 1000 OBO cash money. I didn’t know they made Willys postal right hand drive wagons! The Smithsonian’s Postal Museum Exhibit has some great images of early original vehicles used to deliver mail.
From the website, “In August 1953, the first postal jeeps rolled off the Willys Motors assembly line. The model, the first U.S. car in three decades to have right-hand drive, was soon being tested on postal routes around the country.
Carriers used these right-hand drive vehicles to save delivery time on their routes. They were able to more easily reach the mailbox without having to park and go around their cars, or reach over the passenger’s seat to deliver the mail.”

(11/22/2010) This looks like a worth project for the price (it doesn’t sound like there’s much to do)
“I got this on a trade I had visions of making a finished hot rod with it but I just dont have the time anymore. Its mounted and channeled over a S-10 frame with the 4.3 liter engine still in it. The engine still runs but there is no gas tank installed. There is a pretty fair amount of metal fab left, but if you have the skills needed for this project it would make a cool ride. There is minimal rust left on the body. The old floor was rotted out and a new floor put in by the previous owner. I have some more pics if needed. This is located in Broadhead WI which is about 1/2 hour west of Beloit , WI. I live in Sycamore, IL so anyone wanting to see will need to make arrangement with me to look at it.”

She has moved all over Texas and been in numerous shops and storage facilities, but its time to let someone with more gumption than I take her. Yesterday Ron contacted me, asking if I had see the wagon on the Can-Am commercial. Well, I couldn’t remember seeing a Can Am commercial.
Then, last night I was watching the Temple/USF game and updating eWillys when I looked up to see Can-Am flash across the screen. I thought to myself, I wonder if that was the commercial Ron mentioned. So, I rewinded it and spotted the wagon. There it was, very briefly shown in the background. A red wagon with white trim sporting the name Nick’s Cove. After a quick search that focused on Nick’s Cove only. I found the pic below. Thanks Nick!

I started restoration….then bought a willys jeepster, I’ve decided to finish the jeepster. Paint is 100% original, I have every part for this jeep, interior is in very good condition, have all the seats, door panels, evey piece & part in boxes & labeled. All chrome has been re-finished, bumpers, grill, tailgate & light bezelles. Only Serious, Please do not call to talk. I’m getting divorced & want to unload. I don’t have to sell this jeep.”
The seller refers to the wagon as a ‘panel’, so this is either not a panel wagon or it might be a Parkway Conversion Panel. Can anyone clarify that? Frank pointed out the truck might be a Tender.
“I have 2 Willy’s Jeeps for sale 1 is a 57 pick-up and the other is a 58 Panel, Both run but each has it’s own issue’s…They both have the flat head 6, the panel motor purrs like a kitten…The panel body is in excellent shape the floor is in great condition and it has the PTO ..The pick-up runs and is driveable ..But I was goin to use it for parts for the panel I can explain the reason’s for this ..I am selling them as a pair … will not split them up …I don’t have a shop to work on them and Would like to get them to somebody that has the means to do with what is needed ..for additional information give me a call 208-410-7676…Scott”
