May have an updated engine.
“I have a 1952 Willys jeep that comes with a hard top. Only reason I’m selling it is bc I don’t have much room for it anymore.”
The back half the jeep body has been removed, despite what some of the pics on Craigslist show.
“1946 Willys Jeep
– Title in hand with 31,936 miles on it
– Bought in Ohio in 2003 (at that time, did run, does NOT now)
– Started 12 volt conversion & carb rebuild in 2005
– Has correct data plates
– I have 1946 owners manual in paper and electronic format
– Has a 1948 windshield
– Frame, fendors, hood, tailgate, grill are in very good condition
– Engine turns freely (by hand)
– Does include heater, original 6 volt system
– Needs seats, back half of body (I found out back half was bondo so that was chopped off)
– Would make a good project jeep, or parts jeep for your early civilian / military model
– $900 OBO (Cash only, no exceptions)
– to be SUPER clear, the pictures are from 2003 when I bought it, the back end of the body IS completely chopped off (it was pure bondo)”
Appears to have a replacement body.
“Selling a Willys jeep that needs a little restoring. Mine is the green one in the second picture. The other pictures are ones that are completely restored. These are all willys jeeps on vw drivetrains and sell upwards of 15k once completed. I just don’t have time for this project anymore but it will make someone a great willys jeep for anyone who wants one. Thanks for looking. I also have the tow behind bar for campers and rv lovers. It runs and drives just needs some paint and a little tlc. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9,500.
“1952 willys cj3a . Well I’ve owned a lot of flatfender jeeps but never one with orginal paint. So, what I have here is a jeep that another jeep guy up in Washington purchased about 5 yrs ago from so. Ca.
Totally restored the undercarriage everything is new, motor, trans, brakes, seals, u can eat off it. But did nothing with the orginal patina of body except detail. Has OD, orginal gauges etc….optional Harrison heater not installed. This jeep shows no signs of ever having a top, no footman loops on sides of wheelhouse for canvas straps.no rust of any kind except surface in bed, U can see signs of the orginal primer on the cowl and tailgate areas. And no holes for a newer snap besttop etc,,,,u always see overrestored cjs, and over modified, this is a keeper for someone….why I’m I selling , something else came available……color is called Caribbean blue.. there are about 15 miles on this jeep since resembled last fall….10k or real close offer.. no tire kickers, bull shi…..ers”
Needs a good rust inspection.

Craig shared this find. I wonder why type of axles or chassis is underneath the body. It doesn’t look like jeep hubs.
“1954 Style (replica) stainless steel Willy’s Jeep. Consists of body, frame, wheels, tires, steering column. No engine or drive train!! (This is a make it the way you want it project) Comes with a factory Jeep car cover with the logo JEEP on it in large letters. Will deliver up to 100 miles from location for additional $100.00. Roger has this nice M-38 for sale.
“Very good condition. All systems operate. The restoration is now several years old, however; the Jeep has been used for parades and shows, only. Of course it becomes more valuable each year. It comes with a period radio and is equipped with the Fording system. Also has period tool pouch and tools. It is all original including 24 volts. (new batteries) It would be a great addition to Car or Military Memorabilia collectors. Also have trailer which is built to haul Jeeps. Trailer available for $2000. Many manuals and some spare parts; starter, regulator, etc. Many pictures available.”
This early Gledhill brochure was on eBay and came from Canada. I’d never heard of Glehill snowplows, but the company still manufactures snow plows and moldboards.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This is an unusual build.
“Usually when we tell you about a mean Jeep it’s because someone has transformed it into the ultimate off-roader, but this complete custom built 1969 Jeep CJ5 is about teaching others a lesson on the streets. Beneath the wild green paint and lowered suspension lies some of the best Ford performance components you know. And once you look at the price, it’s not just a great Jeep or a great Cobra; it’s one amazing overall deal.
There is no pretending this is an off-road Jeep. The metallic green paint is out to intimidate the streets, not the trail. At has the kind of luster from the modern clearcoat that will act like a beacon attracting people from across the show field during the day, and at night, it catches the light and almost glows better than a neon sign. That’s why it has been applied over every inch of the exterior, including the bumpers, grille, and hood pins. The only thing to grab more attention than the green are those custom applies sliver ghost flames. But more than just paint, this one has some great custom street rod details, like the chopped windshield, lowered suspension, crystal clear headlights, and the Weld-style 15-inch alloys.

Looks pretty stock. Could be worth a look.
“1950 Willy’s Jeep CJ3A
4 cylinder , everything in working order. Runs great.”
Nice looking jeep.
“This is the ultimate Jeep survivor!! It has everything you may want for an outstanding Jeep CJ for any collection. The Jeep was owned by a Willis Jeep Dealer in Indianapolis. It still has the statement of origin or manufactured. It still has the dealer cost sheet. It has 12623 original miles.
It still has the original tube tires. Original paint, top (in bad condition), seats, accessories, hoses, belts, floor mats. Tho only thing that has changed is the shocks, gas cap and clutch. I have owned the Jeep for 20 years. I was going to use it, but realized how special it was and didn’t touch it except for special occasions. I have only put 20 miles on it in the last 3 years. I got it out last night to take pictures and it started right up. I Also have the Willys parts pages for the model. There is a few surface rust spots, one on the tail (pictured) and driver/passenger floor pan. This jeep really deserves a museum or display collection. I have plenty of other photos if needed.”
This is listed as a 1950.

Includes a corn feeder.
“Includes:
New Puncture-proof Mud Tires

Looks like a Kelly hardtop. I love the “mother and daughter snow removal” on the door. Has some rust issues.
“This classic Jeep CJ spent much of its life used for plowing snow and stored in a barn. We believe it has had 2-3 owners and the miles appear to be original. Please check out the DOT codes on the tires. You will see that they are November of 1972. It includes the Western plow and controls, as well as the hard top and doors. It was stored in Southeast WI and is a fairly complete vehicle. It is in need of a complete restoration as you can see. Please scroll down and enjoy the 250+ photos.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** on eBay for $3650.
Has a rear winch and the tailgate looks in good shape.
“I’m selling my favorite project for someone else to enjoy! The story about this cute little guy is as follows: I got it from the family who bought it new and it was burned in a house fire. It’s been in Colorado its whole life. It was said that it was a tow truck with a boom in the bed and a Ramsey 6000 lb pto winch in the rear bumper. The boom was removed before I found it. However the winch is still there. It has one of the straightest beds I have ever seen! The sides have no dents and the tailgate is just as straight. The cab is just sheet metal for all that was not metal was melted in the fire. There is the typical rust in the front fenders and the corner of the drivers side door.”
