“44 jeep willys mb military jeep. 98% complete for a restoration. 5 combat wheels, all bone stock original drivetrain, body, frame and everything else thats on the jeep. Good restoration project for the serious jeep enthusiasts that wants all original. No title but can easily achieve one. All the tags besides one that the military takes off before selling it to the public. These jeeps are getting hard to find folks ! Phone, text or email if interested. Will consider reasonable offers. No trades. ”
Maybe an FC? Seller thinks it is rare. The four speed is what made me wonder if it is an FC.
“Rare 1958 Willys Jeep all Original except for the beautiful 3D Professional camo custom paint. very clean in and out majority of restoration has been done. Jeep runs great! the reason this vehicle is so rare it came from The Factory with 4 gear shifters And a Wench in front. the 4×4 is incredible, nothing can Beat It. blinkers, lights, even this cigarette lighter and winch in front Work. this is the ultimate hunting or 4×4 vehicle you must see It to Believe it give me a call”

Bill forwarded this ad. The body is aluminum. It’s listed as a 1942, but the chassis is likely newer than that.

(02/08/2016) This was built as a dunes jeep.
“1954 willys cj3b. has been stretched to 92 inches. primarily built to be used in the sand. but has been licensed and insured for the last 15 years that i have had it. engine started as a mid 60’s ford 428 cu in……..as found in the kr500 shelbly mustangs. i took it down to bare block and built it to 435 inches with, 10.5 comp, aluminum edebrock heads, gear drive, comp solid cam, aluminum roller rockers, edel..broc performer intake etc. ended up with 500 hp. the trans is a built to the hilt c6 auto with b and m holeshot 2400 stall converter. has 5.38 rears front and rear. i originally built this motor for a shelbly close mustang or late 60’s fairlane to run brackets…..but work got in the way and never happened. needless to say this jeep runs on the street and in the sand very well. has msd billet distributor and msd7ml-2 ignition. which you can change rev limiter in seconds by chip change. will twist 7000 rpms…..but i run 6400 chip, car has gobs of torque.

“Selling my 47 cj2a jeep, it has a 283 SBC motor, the frame has been completely boxed, the rear brakes are brand new but the system needs to be bled. It has a 3 spd trans in it now but not a T-90, I have an SM420 4 spd that goes with it along with a Novak adapter for the D18 TC, I also have a rebuild kit for the trans. The D 41 rear axle has a Loc-Rite locker in it and the D25 up front is all stock. The jeep has the usual rust areas but is completely repairable, the wiring needs to be gone through but the jeep ran when I put it in the garage. I also have 3 GM tilt columns that will go with it as that was what I was going to put in it. I will post some pics in a day or so, thanks for looking!”

“Cool little Jeep! 1947 Flat Fender Willys, runs and drives! This would be a great candidate for a restoration, but it is functional as-is. This would be a much cheaper option if you wanted to use it in the place of a UTV, (Polaris Ranger, Kawasaki Mule, Kubota, etc.), but it also has a clear TX title so that it can be registered to drive legally on the pavement as well. Has new brake wheel cylinders all the way around, as well as a new alternator (12 volt). Feel free to call or text if you have any other questions. I prefer cash sales, but if you have something to trade of similar value, give me a shout, the worst I can do is say no. This Jeep is available as long as this posting is active.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8500.
Looks like it has a Porter & Reed hardtop.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $3000
(10/01/2015) It’s a project.
“1945 Overland Willys Jeep, 9 louver grill, no tailgate. Engine has been started in last 10 years, runs rough. Reconstructed WWII frame (welded front end from an MB jeep), Oregon VIN, Virginia Title.
Includes canvas cover and windshield (not pictured) and all you see in the photos. Most all original parts remain and are in the back of the Jeep. The black&white pic is from approx 2004 before the jeep was disassembled for this project and is included for reference only.
This was a restoration project that was started and is unfinished. At some point painted red, but the original military green paint is under it. This has been in my family since 1995.
This Jeep is not in running condition. AS-IS, WHERE IS.”
