Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. New 11″ brake shoes and wheel cylinders. All new brake lines and hoses.
Power steering.

Recently rewired and all guages and lights work. Heater works.
Clean Washington state title in my name.”

“This is a project with about $12,000.00 invested in parts and a lot of labor. This was ment to be a pick up and would be a cool finished vehicle. Working out of state has made it impossible for the owner to finish. The cab and chassis has a used v6 engine, front and rear end. The trans. is a 350 turbo rebuilt with truck internals. The transfer case is a Dana 300 rebuilt. The springs are new. The wheels and tires are used, but there is a new set of wheels. There is also a Buick rebuilt long block and rebuilt Dana 44 front and rear Axles. The front has a Detroit locker and Warn hubs. Two pallets of parts used and new. Selling as parts/ project w/ title.
I would like to sell as a package, but may consider offers as parts.”

“1947 CJ2A Jeep
To many things to do at 73 and not enough time. I have intended for years to restore this little Jeep. All brand new tires and rims. Boxes of parts ready to install including new gauges and shocks. To drive it needs brakes, new gas line and a battery. Drive train in good shape engine runs. The CJ2A was the first civilian built Jeep after WW2 I have the title.”
