Lots of upgrades, but still a project. It has a bobcat body with the passenger side gas inlet (life mine). I’d bet this is one of the early heavy bodies.

Marc spotted this body for sale. It might be the same body that was discussed in this G-838 thread.
“This may be your last opportunity to own a new old stock (NOS) M151A2 replacement body. As near as I can tell, this is one of the last three known to exist.
If you know anything about the M151 series of vehicles, you’re probably aware that it is a unibody constructed Jeep. That means that it did not have a separate frame. The the radiator, engine and transmission, drive can train and suspension components were all bolted directly to the body. While that saved some weight, it made it doubly important that the strength of the body was not compromised by rust. Unfortunately,a M151 body has all kinds of nooks and crannies to trap mud and moisture and start the corrosion process, however, this M151 body is clean as a whistle! Brand new, never been used!! It doesn’t get any better than this!!!
I can deliver this body to a buyer who is traveling to the Military Vehicle Preservation Association meet at Camp Delta this year April 20-26. Camp Delta is in Lodi California.
This body would be a great start for an all NOS parts (they are all available !) constructed brand-new M151A2 Jeep with 0 miles. The only one on the planet!”
UPDATE: Price bumped to $5000.
(02/17/2015) Has an interesting paint job.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $27,000
What you are about to see is a rare 1962, Willy’s Utility Wagon. This is an original survivor and was the very first one off the production line in 1962. It has the original engine, frame, and body with matching numbers. Its teal blue paint mimics its original factory paint color. The exterior and interior is all real wood which is Koa and red oak trim. It has a Hurricane 226 motor that purrs like a kitten. This unique Willy’s Wagon is a four wheel drive with a high and low in good working condition. It also is a manual three speed transmission on the floor in good working condition. We believe this was either an ambulance or city, county, or state work vehicle because of the original light on the roof. All electrical is working and we have reached over 70mph with it for highway driving (but its not recommended due to the speed limits back then were 55mph). This is truly a rare unique piece of history because there is only a handful of original survivors left in the world and being #1 off the production line.
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5800.

Don visited the Pennsylvania Military Museum a couple days ago and discovered it houses a Bantam BRC-40. Had I known this we would have made an effort to get there during our trip in 2013. Thanks to Don for taking some photos for us!
The Pennsylvania Military Museum is located on Business 322 in Boalsburg; three miles east of State College. It is one of 26 historic sites and museums on the Pennsylvania Trail of History, administered by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC).

UPDATE: If you know anything about this, please contact me at d@ewillys.com and I will relay the information to Rodney.
Rodney’s custom drag jeep and trailer disappeared from his Eastern Oregon property three months ago. Unique to this rig is that it is a true four wheel drive drag jeep. Since the jeep was designed mostly for drag racing, he hopes people will keep a look out for it around the west.
Whomever absconded with it has likely painted it. Here are a few specs and photos:
“-small block chevy
-manual liberty 2 speed
-tilt fiberglass body
-quick change rearend
-tittanium brakes”
UPDATE: I thought this included a Perkin’s Diesel in the jeep. I now believe the Perkins is an extra motor, because the motor in the jeep is an f-head.
This runs and drives, but will need some body work.
“1965 cj6 runs and drives very little rot needs a fender no top i have many rare parts that can go with it .perkins diesel with a 4 speed, split bench seat , Dana 44 with 1 piece axles ,Dana 30 front ,gears a lift kit ect ect but for 2500 you get just the jeep very hard to find any questions call me thanks ”

“I have a 1949 Jeep Willy for sale with a bill of sale only NO TITLE, Great for hunting lease, It does run well, NEEDS, breaks bleed out, replacement of muffler PIPE as it has hole in line. I am checking into title and these two repairs and if done price will go up accordingly. Please let me know if you are interested in it, Thanks and have a great day, ”
It’s a little rough for the asking price. Listed as a 1956, it is actually a 1959 based on the serial number 5633716301. It only has 11,000 miles.
