Here’s a GP project.
“ If you’ve been looking for a good prototype jeep to restore, you have just found one. This jeep has been a three year project but unfortunately I have two other jeeps under restoration so I’m selling this one. It is a matching numbers second series GP. As you will see in the pictures the body was pretty good prior to restoration. It comes with almost everything needed to finish it. If it is not listed it does not come with the jeep. All panels were in great shape except for the floors. A new floor has been spot welded in but needs to be finished. The original tail panel was dented up so it was removed to take care of the dents. it still needs to be installed so the jeep can be re assembled. The engine was rebuilt by a machine shop very familiar with this engine. The head, angle drive distributor housing, intake, exhaust manifold, are all original and correct. The drive train is complete with the correct scalloped axles. A lot of the parts have been media blasted and painted but some are still in primer. The jeep will come with a solex and a reproduction air cleaner. A few of the parts such as voltage regulator, circuit braker, coil etc. are NOS that I’ve saved for this jeep. I tried to list everything that comes with the jeep but I’m sure I’m missing something so if you want to know please ask before you make a decision to bid. I’ve included some before pictures and some pictures of the restoration process. This is a great opportunity to get a GP at a fraction of its value. What you see is what you get, everything pictured comes with the vehicle”

” What a find. A 1957 Willys CJ-3B Luggage Conveyor Jeep. This vehicle was owned by TWA in Albuquerque New Mexico for the early part of it’s life. It was later used by Texas Air as a luggage conveyor to load their aircraft. This vehicle is complete, minus the conveyor for loading, but the front mounts are included. The engine turns but it doesn’t run at this time. This vehicle will have to be restored. There is information and pictures of similar Jeeps used at airports at cj3b.info.”

Appears to have a replacement body.
“This 1950 Jeep has a military style body that still has its first coat of paint. Never had any rust holes. Purchased this jeep in from an older Gentleman who used it to plow his very long gravel driveway. I have used it to plow my driveway, skid logs out of the woods, launch boats, cruise the neighborhood, and ride trails carved by ATVs that todays jeeps don’t fit on. Buy this jeep because you want a dependable, and fun work toy that is ridiculously easy and cheap to operate. This is not a fickle collectors parade jeep! I have used it weekly since day one of purchase. Think of it as a street legal ATV that holds 4 people. This Willys is narrow enough and light enough (<2000 lbs) to fit in a 7 ft wide enclosed trailer. It has a lifetime registration as a collector vehicle so does not need annual tabs. In 1993 a frame off restoration and rebuild was completed on it. Most of the frame could still be waxed! The Jeep is unmodified with these exceptions: 70’s tail lights, 12 volt battery conversion, Warn locking front hubs, seatbelts and back seat. To the best of my knowledge, everything else is original. The tires are Denman Military. Flathead go devil 4cyl. Manual transmission, Manual transfer case shift, Manual front axil shift. Very steep original gears. Cruising speed 45 mph. Since I’ve owned it, the entire brake system has been renewed with new lines, master cylinder and all wheel cylinders and brake pads. Original Carburetor rebuilt this spring. Vintage steel full hardtop, hydraulic western plow, jerry can and holder available separately. Clear Minnesota title. “
Runs and drives.
“Want a classic that is original? It runs, it drives….very original including engine. I love this car but need room in garage. Take care of her for me.”
