“1953 M38A1 Jeep. Great jeep for the family. We spent many an hour driving around deer leases and camp sites. I proved to my kids that this little ol jeep would climb many things the giant jacked-up trucks could not. Great way to teach your kids how to drive standard. 24V system. Underwater fording switch. Blackout lights. Placque on engine states the engine was rebuilt at Camp Wolters. Everything works. Original 4 cyl motor, transmission etc. Is not running because it needs batteries. A couple of deer lease dents but very little rust or body damage. This would be a great father- son rebuild because not much to do and easy to work on.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $6500.

UPDATE: I have not heard from Hank in a while. Unless I hear otherwise, I don’t believe he’s got these for sale. This is informational only at this point.
Hank created these at his shop. He writes, “Thought I would show everyone my dual wheel adapters that I made at our shop. I got the dimensions from a friend that had a pair and sold them. They fit the front and rear and they have right and left thread lug nuts.May not be original but they are twice as strong, will do the job and don’t look half bad.”
It’s only been sitting for twenty years. Perfect lawn ornament. I wonder if it was complete before, or after the fire?
“this jeep was in a fire about 20 years or so and has sat . the jeep was complete wen it was parked. call after 6pm thank you.”

Here’s a good looking CJ-3A.
“This is a NICE Original UN-MODIFIED 1951 Willys Jeep CJ3A and as you can see in the pictures it was well cared for and is BEAUTIFUL! Careful to not let this 1951 jewel get away! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low! This BEAUTY has what we were told is only 38,949 ORIGINAL MILES!
The previous owner was a local businessman that kept it at his mountain cabin and put less that 5,000 miles on it in the 20+ years he owned it. This Jeep has ALL its ORIGINAL SHEET METAL. Take a look at the lines on this beauty, what an amazing looking 1951 Willys Jeep CJ3A. This Stock 1951 Willys Jeep CJ3A is one nice driving rig and in very nice shape.”
Looks solid. Looks like it has a replacement body and windshield.

“ Here is a barn fresh 46 Willys just out of long term storage. I was told it was restored by the previous owner in the late 70s or early 80s then used some before being stored away in a barn. I dont know a lot about these Jeeps and will describe it the best I can. It runs and drives nice. The body is all steel nice and straight with no rot anywhere. Someone told me it may be a replacement body.
The top is a Best Top brand with no rips or tears. Doors and windows are in great shape also. The seats are in excellent condition with no rips, tears or wear. They flip up for access to the rear compartment. All the gauges, windshield wipers and horn are in working order although the horn button is missing. The 4 cylinder engine runs excellent with no noise or smoke. It has an electric fuel pump and the electrical system has been converted to 12 volt. The trans shifts smooth and the clutch doesnt slip or chatter, all 4wd components are working as they should.
This might be worth a look.
