“MAKE ME AN OFFER!
1948 Willys CJ2A I started the mechanical and electrical restoration, finished many things, body is remaining main item. Runs like a sewing machine. Tons of new and replaced parts.
I work in Nashville Mon-Thu. during the week, so Friday, Saturday and Sunday is the only time to see / drive it. Sorry.
I can send you lots more pictures in a zipped file on request.
Here is a pretty detail list of work I have done to it already.
Rear seat and military spare tire do not go with it, they belong in another jeep of mine.

I’ll do some updates later tonight.
Here’s a photo of Biscuit, undressed and packed away in the garage. The next step is to hang the motor and tranny in the frame so I can install the new motor mounts. I’m hoping to get that configured before leaving tomorrow.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
“You are bidding on a 1942 Ford GPW. This is a very early production script “FORD” jeep with a serial number of “I7743″ which would put it around April of 1942. The jeep does run, drive, and stop from an auxiliary fuel can. The jeep does have a clear Idaho title that matches a vin that was stamped in the cowl.”
Walter spotted this. It seems longer than a 150 and shorter than a 170. I’m gonna go with 150.
“This jeep was running last year. My grandpa passed away and now I cant crank it. Needs work”

UPDATE: This has been relisted on eBay
(11/15/2013) Zack spotted this unusual find: A MB Desk. I could very easily see myself writing at such a desk. I think I’m gonna have to build a version of it.
“This Jeep Desk is modeled from a WW 2 Willys. It has a real grill, headlight buckets, black out lights and dash plaque. The paint is authentic Lusterless Olive Drab. The invasion star is painted with a flat white. The fenders are an exact copy and are made of wood. The hood is also an exact copy but made of metal.”
Craig writes, “This was the Midnight Drive-away program that happened at the conclusion of the 1959 Chicago Auto show. There was a little written article about the event but it was pieced together and not easily scanned.”
Check out more photos at Craig’s “Dealership News Pieces” Page.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Marc found these parts for sale.
“Parts or bid on the whole jeep was running. About 5 years ago. Tranny is. Gone. This. Red one is A 6 cylinder. There are still many hard to finds useable parts left on this jeep. I’m just listing this for. 4 days. It’s just a shame to send this to a scrap yard please E-mail me if you have any question thanks”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
This sure looks like a nice, rust free Wagoneer.
“I regretfully must sell my truck, I am in college and can’t afford to take it back with me after thanksgiving. No reasonable offer will be refused. This truck runs and drives well. I put about 2 grand into fixing it up. Now I know why I am broke. I have documentation of work done. Has a new exhaust system from midas and under warranty among many other improvements. I have driven this truck 150 miles non stop from Alexandria to Harrisonburg many a time and has yet to fail me. I have put about 2,500 miles on it since it bought it. Of course its not perfect and has its old car issues, but nonetheless, it moves and stops when you want it to. Nothing screams sex more than a 15 foot long, 5,000 pound, carbureted beast of years past. may consider trade for a running vehicle.
This vehicle is currently registered and insured and was safety inspected in August 2013, has Alexandria windshield tax decal and finally a clear Virginia title in my name. Exempt from annual emissions inspection!Take the keys (and title) and drive away!
