Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Nicely restored 1948, Willys cj-2a jeep. The following has been done: Replacement body tub kit, Fully Rebuilt engine, transmission and axles gone thru with new seals and bearings, new clutch, full brakes and master cyl, 4 new Firestone 6.00-16 NDT tires, New exhaust, shocks, upholstery, glass…etc.
Jeep has a full rear PTO mounted, along with brackets from a Monroe 3 point hitch (gone)
Jeep runs, drives and stops perfectly, and has clear NYS title.”

“1953 Jeep Willys M-38. MSD ignition. Full Linex tub and roll bar. Roll bar mounted to frame. Rear undermount fuel cell. Seat belts. All Aluminum dash, wheels, exterior fender wells, radiator, and other engine parts. Stainless steel diff cover and steering linkage. 4point suspension. Warn High/Low Overdrive transfer case. 3 speed transmission. Power steering and brakes. CD/radio. Buick V6 “Dauntless” racing engine. Flomaster mufflers. “62 Jeep FC 170 with a 6 cylinder engine and a 3 speed trans. Has a Dana 44 in the front and a Dana 53 in the rear. Its loaded with rear P.T.O., front hydraulics, snow blower mount, and heater. Windshield glass is in good condition, glass in both doors though are cracked.”

“1958 Willys Jeep 4X4 Pick-up. Excellent body, AZ truck, no engine. I have owned this truck since 1978 it has front spring shackle reversal, suspension professionally done by Randy Ellis Design Phoenix, AZ, has Canyon Crawler bumper, Saginaw steering and tilt wheel. I have a 1997 Dodge Dakota V8, NV 3500, 5 speed tranmission and transfer case, and all engine wiring are included with truck, selling due to illness.”

“For sale is my vintage fc-170 weasel. This truck runs good and will go anywhere. Ive spent alot of money to make this truck dependable. New parts are starter, gm alt, gauges, steering cyl, exhaust, battery,. It starts and runs great. Tracks are in good shape and someone added chain to them to make them stronger. Motor is a studabaker 6 cyl. lights work. The bottom needs plugs where they were cut as to let it drain. T90 trans. Reserve is low compared to cheap side by side. “1951 Willys Jeep with custom chassis. VW air cooled powered. Only 12 built that I know of, done very nice. Inspected by the PA department of Transportation and issued a special construction VIN. Titled as a 1977 special construction. Draws a lot of attention. Very solid Arizona body. Nice Best soft top.”

“1942 Ford Jeep, V-6 , Power Steering, Warn Hubs, Tow Bar, Double can rack, Hi-Jack”
This used to be a Department of Archeology Wagon. It needs a little work still.
“This 1959 Willy’s station wagon, 4X4, flat head, 6cyl., 3 speed, serial no. 39971. This unit was originally owned by the US Government, the Dept. of Archeology. Ten years ago this unit had new quarters and complete paint. It was done in 2 different colors of metallic gray, a darker and a lighter color. Roof and lower portion below the mouldings are the lighter color. It has all new front springs.
I have driven this unit out on the gravels, but never on the highway. 4 wheel drive works, clutch works. Brakes worked when I parked it 10 years ago. They do not today. Might need fluid, don’t know. I got this unit out yesterday, I put battery in it and gas, and drove it out of the building. When this unit was put away I added 2 gallons of diesel fuel to the gas and let it run so it would not stick any valves in the flathead engine. This Willy’s has all of its stainless steel trim inside of the truck.
It also has all of the other extra chrome pieces. Has original seat for the driver. I believe I have the other seats, don’t know for sure. Pretty sure they are in a storage building in town, have have to look. Have the oak wood strips for rear floor. Tailgate for truck is in back of truck. It is painted and done. I have a newer style replacement bench seat for the front that I was going to install. It has good radial tires and spoke wheels. The exhaust is complete. I have all the windows and trim moldings and inside moldings for the truck. They were taken out when it was painted.
Doors fit nice, open and close nice. Windows roll up and down. Has cracked glass on driver’s door. Windshield good. When this unit was repainted and quarters put on, it was not going to be a show vehicle. There was some rust in floor pans and have been repaired good enough for normal use and are solid and sealed up. I do not have time to finish this. After if was painted, I parked it and have lost interest in it. It would be a good project and a very different vehicle if someone wanted to complete it. It is not over-priced and they are getting very hard to find. This unit has a Minnesota Title.
I would consider trades on something of interest. If you are interested, give me a call and we will talk. Would like this unit to go to a good home as soon as possible.

This has some Terra Low gears in the TC. It is listed as a 2A, but may be a 3A.
