Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “for sale is my 1948 jeep cj2a willys. it is in very good shape, with no rust(it was in arizona its whole life until last year). it has the 4 cylinder 3 speed with low and high gear. the interrior was redone with all black carpet. its only flaw is that the blinkers do not flash but they light up, and the gas guage does not read correctly. comes with a top and 2 cloth doors, tow bar.”

“I’m selling my 1952 Willys Flat Fender Jeep, I need to sell a.s.a.p. moving! It’s been sitting for a while but it does run, needs work. It has a 400 small block, sm420 trans, dana 300 transfercase, dana 44 rear, dana 30 front, reversed front shakles, tow bar, rear rack that is removable. $3000.00”

“1951 WILLYS JEEP 4×4 with original 4 cylinder engine that runs good, 31x 10.50 super swamper tires with 75% or better tread this jeep was used as hunting jeep on hunting lease. It has a title and can be yours for a price of $1800.00 or obo.
It needs seats because the were taken out and are no longer around. It also need some starter work done. It cranks but it takes to people to crank it right now. If you have any other questions email me and ask.
This was a hunting jeep and looks like one if you want a daily driver or a show jeep buy this one and put some seats in it and some other parts in it and you can have one.”

Updates monday morning, probably right after dad calls from the hospital at 6:30am to tell mom and I that he is awake. lol … yeah, he’s back to his ol’ self.
Glenn sent me the following note:
“I just received a commitment from Pam Weidel that she and John B. Haines IV will bring Nellybelle out to play at The Great Willys Picnic in Lansford, PA on Sunday, June 12, 2011. This will be, I believe, the first all Willys event for Roy Rogers famous CJ2A Jeep since Ms. Weidel purchased it last summer. Nellybelle was at AACA Hershey last October and resides permanently in Mr. Haines Race Car / Truck Museum in Pennsburg, PA. Don’t miss being there if you are anywhere nearby. I’m traveling 500 miles to be in the middle of this Willys spectacle.”

It’s missing a few things.
“Up for sale is a 1960 Willys FC-150. Mostly complete it is missing the driveshafts and starter. Has the 134 F-head 4cyl. with T-90 and spicer 18 transfer case. Engine turns over fine by hand, was running 2 yrs ago. Trans and T-case shift into gears fine. Body is decent, glass is good, has a pto on it. Would make a fun little project, havent seen alot of these things!! Does have a little rust in the floors, not much and its on flat panels, so easy fix! To many projects and it has to find a new home, thank you!!”

“For Sale 1 Used as is Willys Jeep T 90 Transmission and Spicer Transfer case. The T 90 was the standard 3 speed used in Willys Jeep CJ 2A, CJ 3A, CJ 3B, CJ 5, Willys Wagon, Truck, Panel Truck, Jeepster, M38, M38A1, FC 150, FC 170 from 1945 to 1971 and many other brands. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6800.
“1952 WIlly’s jeep with 350 motor. Has new: rear end, painless wiring kit, Corbeau seats, gages, battery, starter, Chevy tilt wheel column, shocks, exhaust, fan and block hugger headers. 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor and bigger aluminum radiator. The jeep is about 80-85% redone. Runs strong, 4wheel drive works great, downside: tranny just lost gears, only has 3rd, but I will give you a tranny that I have its a Ford 4 speed top loader with reverse which is over and down.”
While not jeep specific, there will be jeeps at this swap meet, which will be at the Idaho Motor Pool in Fruitland, Id. When I cruised past the property on I-84 last night, I saw at least 2 M38A1s, one flattie, and a m-151.
