UPDATE: Anyone make it to this auction over the weekend?
Maggie spotted this auction. If you like or need Jeepster parts, this might be a good find. Also note the nice Willys sign.

“56 Willys CJ5 for sale. Has a Ford 302, twin stick T case and 3 speed manual. 11 inch drum brakes. 31 in Super swampers. Very minor rust on the tailgate and on one hat channel. I have the original wheels to go with it and also a few other parts I never used. Brakes could probably use new pads, but work ok as they are. T case could use a new input shaft seal as it has a small leak like most old Willys. I have the title as well. Open to trades… Let me know what you have. This is a fun little jeep, but I am just ready for something different to mess around with. Any questions let me know. OBO”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3150.
I’d like to see more pics of the extension.
“1946 willys jeep looks good runs good $3150.00 obo.”

“Not running. Spare motor comes with it. This is a great restore project. Cab and chassis. Asking $500 or best reasonable offer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9000.
“I’m listing my 1942 Ford GPW WWII Jeep. It was a complete frame off restoration. There may be 2000 miles on a complete rebuild motor. It’s coming all set up for the winter months. It has an early made Arctic top made just for the WWII jeeps, and I’ve installed a heater for the cold winter days. The drivers seat os adjustable so that big guys can drive it. I’m 6’5″ and would have had to drive with the steering wheel imbedded in my stomach. It has 4 brand new 600×16 military tires on it. A new paint job and a spare gas can that is dated 1942 to match the year of the Jeep. I’m asking $9000 to me it’s worth much more but with the economy the way it is I thought I would be realistic. If you’ve gone to any Car shows around southern maine you’ve seen this jeep with a big machine gun on it. NO the gun doesn’t go with it.”
There is some value and it looks pretty bone stock. I think it has a rear PTO.
“1946 willeys jeep…complete but needs lots of work to get her back on the road…. really solid for a jeep sitting in a farm field… $500 firm on the price no title…..i dont like jeeps so it has to go…. also have another frame with transmission and axles…..SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY! I HAVE HAD TWO PEOPLE WHO I HELD IT FOR AND THEY NEVER GAVE ME A DIME….IF YOU DONT HAVE THE CASH DONT CALL…..AGAIN I AM FRIM ON THE PRICE…. 314-779-4376”
This appears solid, as the seller claims, but is not “bonestock unmolested” “all original except engine”. A cursory glance shows the gauges have all been replaced, it’s got updated rear lights, an aftermarket turn blinker, it’s got turnout hubs, the dash has minor mods, it looks to have been changed to 12 volts, and the bumper area is non stock. My biggest concern would be the lack of real protection on the intake; you can see a simple screen has been attached with a clamp.
“1945 GPW Military Ford Jeep. All original except engine. Motor is a 4 cylinder L head engine off a later model jeep. 3 speed manual. Bonestock unmolested otherwise. Has a 8274 Warn Winch. No rust, no bondo. Never wrecked or rolled. Own a piece of U.S. military history. Runs and drives great. A running, driving, roadworthy daily driver. Clear title in hand. Very rare. Windshield pops out and collapses.”
UPDATE: UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
“For-Sale 1946 Willys CJ2a Jeep W/Trailer. This Jeep was my father’s retirement project. It’s all original, transmission shifts good, runs good. Everything works. Has a white vinyl top, also has the rear bench seat. The only issue is the brakes, it has a nice high brake pedal but doesn’t stop very good. The trailer is painted to match the jeep. The trailer has a hand brake which works good also. The tires on the Jeep are good. I even have the original 600-16 tires for it”
UPDATE: Was $2700. Status Unknown.
(06/09/2010) This looks pretty good.
“Very nice jeep, runs and drives, needs tune up, looks great, has a 327 chevy in it, 4 wheel drive, high and low gears, 3 speed trans. New low price, must sell, bring all offers, lets deal. ”
This has some mods, but hard to tell just how much.
“1958 Jeep Willys for sale on Johns Island. Runs good all selas have recently been replaced. Great for the farm. Clean title. Email or call 708-4223 with questions.”

“We have a 1969 Jeep CJ Camper They only made 336 of these I have found on the internet there only a hand ful of them left. they are rare as hens teeth. this a V6 engine with a three speed trans. It needs a complete restoration as you can see from the pics. it is being sold on a Bill of sale only it looks to be about 95% complete we do see it is missing some hub caps/ gear shifter knob/ some camper parts/ It did run when parked any questions please call me my name is Dannon”
This includes an overdrive. Get it while it lasts.
“Selling what I believe is a 1946 CJ-2A Willys Jeep. This has a Ford V-8, 11 inch brakes, 3 speed, Dana model 18 2 lever transfercase, Warn Overdrive, stock front and rear end. Now as you can see…there are some issues, rust, no seats, no windshield, no tailgate, no radiator and more. The Jeep has not run in quite some time……15-20 years. The parts may be worth something to someone out there in Jeep land. Call me @ (408) 515-1580”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500
“-283 V8 w/headers
-3 speed w/all-range overdrive
-5.38 axle ratio
-full roll cage
-skid plate
-tow bar
-tilt/telescopic wheel
New battery, new alternator, rebuilt carburator. No leaks, no rust, no doors, no heater, no power anything. I previously invested over $7000 in this, but then it sat in a barn for ten years. It’s running like new again, but the tires are old, and it still needs brake work. This is a turn-key, mostly complete, running jeep for the price of a project jeep. Clean title, but currently registered non-op. Make offer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000
The body doesn’t appear too bad.
“1947 Willys Jeep, Ford Pinto motor(powerplant), 3 speed transmission, twin stick transfer case, does not run has not ran since 1992, body is straight. Restoration is needed to complete project. This is not a military issue civilian model. Made by overland motors company. Pinto motor was a common swap due to the go-devil motor was weak.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** See more pics here: http://www.ewillys.com/?p=61299
This looks like a DJ-3A Surrey Body on a 70s CJ-5 frame to me. It was listed as a CJ-3B on Craigslist.
“We have this CJ3B sitting in our barn and it’s time for it to go. Don’t want to scrap it and would like to find someone who can put it to use somehow. Asking $700 or best offer. Not sure of any of the details of the Jeep. Needs an engine, transmission is there though not in the Jeep. Probably have some of the parts lying in/around it, so those will be a part of the price.”
No pics. Unsure what it is.
“50’s jeep Willys not sure of the exact year. No title, No motor. Great for parts.$350.00
