This is supposed to be a no-rust body, but the passenger side floor appears double patched? Note the seem near the back of the floor and the plate on the angled portion of the floor. Maybe I’m just confused.
http://www.warjeeps.com/mjs/sale20/adm154/adm154.html
“Motor Pool Restoration on a no-rust body. Engine runs strong and smooth. 24v system intact and charging as it should. New tires and brake system. New canvas and glass. Fresh paint. Ready for parade or play.
Pictures do not show but has cross over tube and wiper system.
Located in Cairo Ga. Comes with Ga Vehicle registration as Ga will not title vehicles older than 1962. Ga registration can be used to title it in your state. “

1961 Jeep Willys
Jeep-A-Trench

I have not engaged the PTO in fear for my life.

Runs strong (can send video).
Zero brakes
Not drivable at this time.
Just a really cool, rare unit with a neat history.
Clear Indiana title!
Special Machinery plated
$2500.00 Hour west of Louisville of I64 Exit #79”
I finally snagged one of these ‘Jeep’ Planning brochures. Based on some of the images (like the WILLYS and JEEP within a link), I’d say this was produced in the Fall of 1944. As best as I can tell, it might be the earliest brochure for what would be the CJ-2A, though you’ll note that only CJ-2s are pictured (unless I missed an X-cj). The brochure breaks down the four principal uses for the “peace time jeep”.
This 1/76th scale plastic jeep represent one of the few commercial models designed based on the original Bantam BRC. Eventually, I’ll remove it from it’s packaging to better take pics of the parts and the directions.

“I hate to do it, but it’s time. A collectors dream! A 1948 Willy’s CJ2A Fully Restored. The wife says it’s time to make room in the garage for a new vehicle we purchased. Have title in hand and the Jeep has been registered every year since 2003. The Willy’s has been garage kept. It was a frame off restoration starting back in 2003. All metal floor boards and body panels are completely free of any rust. The Engine was rebuilt by a professional Willy’s mechanic in 2006.
Most all gauges have been replaced or restored. Brakes, tires, and interior all in great shape. No tears in the seats. Interior fully spray lined. For a 72 year old vehicle this thing is in Amazing condition! I’m very meticulous with my stuff to say the least. 4WD works Great! This Willy’s was originally discovered in a barn in Wyoming. Odometer says 5,391 but only 3000 miles on rebuilt engine. Runs great-starts up with one click- a Real Head Turner for sure! No low ball offers”
Has a few mods. It’s listed as a 1942.

“1942 Willies runs and drives , great little mountaineer”
This might have had a hood bump at some point.

“Hazzard Fabworx of Spokane has reworked the suspension, power steering, changed out all the fluids, battery, serviced the diffs/transmission/transfer case/overdrive, swapped in disc brakes all around (‘94 Geo Tracker) and installed lap seat belts. It has an “odd fire” V6 motor, Dana 30 front/Dana 44 rear both with 4.27 gears, T90 3-speed transmission, Dana 18 transfer case and a Warn overdrive.
I will say the original overdrive was a Warn but the owner before me had it rebuilt by Herm The Overdrive Guy in Washington, so it’s physically a Husky case now. It also has a Warn 4500 lb winch mounted on the front. The odometer reads 30k and change. The thing still runs and drives great. It doesn’t burn oil and still has the original VIN plate. The story I got when I bought it was that it was a forestry service jeep in Oregon, hence the decals.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(08/21/2020) I can’t tell how bad the rust is (or isn’t).

(08/08/2020) It’s a colorful ice cream jeep, but also a little worn looking.
“Clown cones is selling the last of their two Jeeps. So if your looking for a fun way to make some extra cash and put a smile on people’s faces this summer, this ice cream truck is a must. This cute little Jeep is an old 83′ automatic mail Jeep DJ5 with the driver’s seat located on the right side of the vehicle. This little business was family owned and operated for 3 years here in Canon city making it established and well known. It comes equipped with a music box, 2 PA speakers, a small 4ft long by 4 ft tall by 2 ft wide freezer and a 2000 watt power inverter. All work well and are in good condition. You can get an inventory supply store as close as Colorado Springs. The Jeep is in good condition and runs great. Does need a little cosmetic matnence and some TLC. we have really enjoyed this business and are really going to miss it however we are moving and cannot take it with us. Asking 3000 firm”
This wooden jeep popped up on eBay last week. After reading the description “To my Wife — Love Joe 5/20/1945 “. I decided to purchase it (Joe-in-Mesa, you didn’t make this for Jan, did you?). I supposed it’s possible that the message isn’t real and it’s less that 75 years old, but I prefer to think it was assembled for someone’s loving wife.
The jeep has been assembled from a few different pieces, but doesn’t look like any kit jeep that I’ve seen or own. The steering wheel is loose, but not broken. The nail needs to be pressed back down. The jeep is 5″ long by 2 1/2” wide.
This photo and article appeared in the April 16, 1943, issue of the Los Angeles Times. Kids at the State Street School sold enough war bonds ($12,773) to purchase 14 jeeps, so the Army sent 5 jeeps to the school’s field.
Natalie Mastavoi is pictured climbing into the jeep. She was the first pupil that got to sit in it. Help her into it is Sgt. Louis Gade. Principlal Frank Wells and Mrs. T.D. Harrington of the local P.T.A. are standing to the right of the jeep. I tried to find out more about the young girl and the Sargent, but had no luck.
UPDATE: JoeB notes that his image is from the family photo collection of Ryan Ward/”Dr Moab”.

Steve spotted this image that was posted to the Justacarguy website, that originally had been posted to Japlopy Journal, but despite the included link I couldn’t find it at that site. The wagon was likely related to David County, Utah.
There are lots of updates to the Flattie. It’s got a replacement body. The Muller Top has been modified with aluminum sides.
