“Purchased in Branson, MO. came from a museum. Excellent ’50’s pedal car Jeep with matching trailer. Looks like the originals from WW2 or Korean Wars. Perfect for the military collector.”
It would be great if the seller has an original photo of the jeep in the box, but of course note everyone had access to a camera in 1946.

“1964 M678 van and a 1965 M679 ambulance. Both have been sitting in the woods of NC for 45+ years. Project FCs that are rough but rare and worth saving. Both still have the Cerlist 2 stroke 3 cylinder diesel and come with the transmission and transfer case. Each has a NC title that will transfer legally. They do not run and will require extensive restoration but the owner(s) will be part of an exclusive club!
The ambulance has about 3400 miles. It still contains the rear fold down side bench and the top medic light.
The van has about 3900 miles and what looks to be a full set of rear crew seats. The dog house cover is included.
$16,000 each or $30,000 for the pair.
We still have an M676 left with the Cerlist if someone is interested in a three M series package deal.
This is the M-679 (ambulance):
This is the M-678 Truck Carryall:
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $12,500.
Looks in good shape.
“Very original with new paint and zero rust. Dauntless Buick V6 and 3 speed transmission. The Jeep runs and drives great. I got so far with the restoration and ran out of steam so there are just a few things left to do,like resealing the transfer case and new exhaust gaskets along with other minor details. It comes with nice spare and I have the title in hand.”
UPDATE: Still Available.

Greg shared this recently rebuilt CJ-2A with a Kubota diesel swap.
“‘46 CJ2A, Overland Diesel turbo kubota kit, champion aluminum radiator, electric fan, Rancho 2.5 lift with shocks and springs, new tub, custom fuel tank & extended seats back for more room, new wheels/tires, GM disc conversion, wilwood master cylinders and hydraulic slave for clutch, all braided stainless lines and AN fittings, raptor lined inside tub, wilwood swing pedals, autometer gauges, rebuilt T90/Dana 18 with proper fluids, knuckles gone through with proper grease, stock axles had bearings/seals replaced, stock rear drums, stock steering box with fluid changed and changed tie rod setup to more common setup in place of y-link setup, much more predictable steering. Body is painted with matte clear. Have extra old T84 and other MB axles if wanted. Need rebuilding.
Still needs seat covers, windshield frame, brake lights, and speedometer but would negotiate including those in sale for right price. Since building this has sat in my cabin garage and only put maybe 20 test miles.”
This is a British contract jeep and was remanufactured by Allison, so who knows what parts were substituted during that process. Looks like an interesting pone.

“1942 Willys BRT MB Jeep – DOD 3/17/42 – MB128189 (BRT – British Contract Jeep)
Made appox two weeks after the last Slat Grill, this jeep has many slat grill features. It went through a rebuild program by Allison Steel in Phoenix Arizona in Feb, 1945 based on the rebuild tag attached to the dash. They used all sort of parts. A slat grill tub, with lots of Ford parts and pieces too. The DOD (3/17/42) would indicate it was a pressed grill jeep with a glove box. A fairly rare & early jeep.
There are no Ford stampings on the frame, so it’s definitely a Willys. The frame data plate is missing up front; however, there is still a rivet (which can be felt from behind) where the frame plate once was. There is some rust and bubba modifications where plates were welded to the floor, a tail gate was installed, etc. but the data plates are original.
The grill is the early type with no indentation on top. It has a Ford transmission with right side drain plug. Passenger side fender and passenger seat are F marked as well. Driver seat is a slat based on the split at top. Axles appear to be the early type. Rubber hood blocks, all 4 combat rims (although rusted and not for use). It also comes with three (3) older NDT Cooper tires which are not mounted. Four inner tubes are included and all go with the jeep. Engine is a CJ and most likely seized.
Additional photos upon request.
I don’t want to part it out, so it’s being sold as-is. There is no title, but will come with a bill of sale. The jeep rolls so could be easily put on a trailer.”

I believe this is the first Advertising and Merchandise Bulletin that I have owned (or even seen). I bought several of these together on eBay. The particular one details the “600 series” of tri-fold brochures available during 1960 (which is one of those nagging issues I’ve always wondered about .. how many brochures were made). So, this answers that question. There were only 13 in that series.
When I get a chance, I’ll add links of images to this post.
It runs and I don’t see any obvious rust.
