“It’s a 1946 Willys CJ2A tilt up shell, full drag chassis built by Rick Thomas in Hesperia ca., Wally World Custom paint. 568 C.I. Dart Big M. Gary Williams 1150 Dominator, Reher Morrison intake, heavily worked Dart Pro 1 heads, Ron Davis radiator, Eagle rotating assembly, Jessel rockers, oversized .904 Howard’s solid lifters, custom cam from Forsyth speed, Ross custom pistons, Custom Hooker headers, pro star 500 pump, Best of the Best from front to back. in this configuration it made 989 hp on an engine Dyno, but can easily be de-tuned to 800hp. I have complete professional build sheets. PowerGlide w/4500 stall (2k HP build), scatter shield and drive line loop. Modified Dana 60 (4 link) w/removable wheelie bar, spool w/6.17 gears, 35 spline Mosers. Areospace brakes, QA1 shocks w/adjustable height linkage. “Very clean sand jeep for sale. This was built by Bolton’s Welding out of Placerville, Ca. Mike has built a number of quality sand jeeps through the years.
Motor is a 383c.i. that we ran in our dragster for years. It ran 3.60’s in the 100yds and won multiple championships. North of 650hp. Motor was freshened and sold to a friend who never used it, and I ended up buying it back. – AFR 227 Heads – AFR Titan Manifold – Bowtie Block – Yellow Terra shaft rockers – Wiseco pistons – Callies rods – Callies crank – QuickFuel 1000 carb
Brand new TCI Powerglide tranny w/ 5000 stall converter, Dana 60 rear. 20 gallon fuel cell. MSD ignition system.
Floorboard and firewall are polished aluminum. Paddles are essentially new.
Jeep ran 3.94 in 300′ in it’s first full pass and then was involved in an accident that twisted the wheelie bar up. Would need a new wheelie bar to use on the track. No other damage.
Bought the jeep to use at the track and dunes, but I moved to Seattle and we have four other race cars and not enough time or space currently for this one. This jeep is honestly immaculate, pictures don’t do it justice.
Will sell as a roller w/ tranny for $14k. Wouldn’t hurt my feelings to keep the motor, it’s our favorite engine we’ve ever had.”

“For sale is a very nice and fun to drive 1962 Willys Panel Wagon. spent most of its life as a drag car on the Coles County Dragstrip before being returned to the street. Very strait body, no rust or dents. Very reliable, I have driven it to the NSRA Nationals event in Louisville KY the last 2 years. No problem running 70+ mph down the interstate. It has a .030 over 350 crate motor, 400 turbo tranny, 9″ ford rearend, power steering. Always gets a lot of attention and you wont see another one like it at the car show. Trades considered”
