• CATEGORIES: GPW (Ford MB) • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Was $5995.

Maybe it is the white on the rims, but something looks odd about them to me .. I can’t quite place it.

“Hello, We are selling our 1942 GPW Jeep with much regret. We were hopping to restore this wonderful jeep, but as we all know, the economy stinks so we selling this great creature. The serial # is 78169 and was build in Nov 11, 1942 and the hood # looks like # 20186593.
Thinks that I know about the Jeep;
It has 5 Combat Rims
4 NTD Tires and 1 other type, (maybe off road on a combat rim. It is on the back of the jeep in photos.
2 gas tanks for under the seat. one with a side spout and one that is filled by under the drivers seat.
Gauges look orginal, milage gage got painted by someone other than me
2 ID plates are there. 1 data plate missing
Some rust in the tool box bottom, but not bad.
looks like wrong radiator and carburetor
Looks like orginal Head marked GPW
Block is got the look of the orginal blue but not the matching block # as Serial #.
Engine turns over and looks like good compression
Has a what I believe is a T-90 transmission
Steel seats are “F” marked
Winshield is cracked
Missing horn and air filter
Has new “F” marked canopy frame”

1957 FC-150 Moorcroft, WY **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was3500

(01/22/2010) It hasn’t been started in a while.  It looks pretty solid.

“What we have here is a 1957 jeep fc150. It is a 4 cylinder manual transmission. It is complete, but I haven’t tried to start it since I got it. I am pretty sure that cleaning out the carb, putting some oil in the cylinders and fueling it up would do it. There are two places it is rusted through, a small spot under the passenger door and the bed, both easy to fix. Floor boards are solid, interior is complete. The sun has deteriorated the dash, easy to fix There are a number of surface rust spots, a little sandpaper and primer will take care of them. I don’t really want to sell, but I don’t have the time to work on it or a shop to put it in. The last one of these I saw on ebay was totally rusted out, missing parts and apart on a garage floor, the “buy it now” price was $5000. I have it priced at a reasonable $3500.”

“!949 CJ3A for sale. I bought this from a guy in Denver. Wiring was terrible, engine compartment was a fitter’s nightmare. Body off restoration 2008. 1960 Wagon St. Louis Museum, MO **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was on eBay

(07/16/2010) Here’s a nice wagon, though it’s not exactly museum quality.

“One of the very few remaining unmolested Jeep carryalls in the world!! It is just one of 485 ever built in 1960. This vehicle was sold new near Springfield, Illinois in late 1959. It got repossesed shortly thereafter and remained in storage for years. An auto Museum in Springfield purchased the Jeep in the late 1990s and kept it until the museum closed a few months ago. The vehicle is amazingly solid with an all original interior. It has been painted in it’s original color. We see very little to no evidence of major rust issues. It runs and drives and is a blast. Comes with it’s original 1959 Illinois license plates!!”

1961 Brush Truck Binghamton, Ny **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Fire/Police/Industry Vehicles, Willys Trucks • TAGS: , , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  **SOLD** for $10,500

“This is a Willys Jeep pickup used exclusively for a Fire Department brush fire response vehicle.  It spent it’s life garaged, warm and clean.  Because of this it has no rust and 29K original miles. It is BETTER than a frame-up restoration, because it hasn’t yet gotten to the point of needing restoring.  It is still a fun, reliable, licensed and inspected daily driver in the mechanical condition of any truck with 29K miles. Of course, there are the added perks of a loud siren and flashing lights if you want to be noticed even more.  I have owned it for five years (bought it directly from the fire company) and would be happy to keep it, but like many people, I have growing cash flow problems, so I have to take a cold look at my priorities.  It is time to sell. I have set a fair and reasonable reserve for the quality of this antique. It is located near Binghamton, NY and you could drive it home if you wanted, but it would be a crime to run up needless mileage and wear.  A flat bed trailer would be best, or hire a car hauler.  This is a 50 year old antique, so naturally there is no warranty.  Sold as-is, where-is.  Try to get your questions in well before the auction ends so I have time to answer.”

1946 CJ-2A Columbus, Oh $1500

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

That’s a crazy rollbar.

“This is a 1946 Willys jeep, the motor does not run. The motor has not ran for 8 years, and does not have any spark plugs in it. The jeep was running 8 years ago, it was parked in a barn for 5 years, and has been outside for 3 years. It has been owned by the same person for 21 years. This is a perfect project jeep, if I had the time I would buy it myself. The jeep cannot be towed away, it will have to be pulled away with a trailer. Any questions call 614-206-5254, I do not check e-mail often please use phone number. I have more pictures I can e-mail if you call me.

This might be worth a closer look.

“1949? Willys CJ2A. pretty much complete, has not ran in a while, but it turns over nicely. all stock. pto winch, tow bar, soft top. floors and tub sides have had the rust cut out and new metal welded in. not perfect, but very functional. great 16″ traction tires. NO title. I have checked Oregon, Washington, Cali, Idaho, and Nevada, and there are no records on this rig. It obviously has not been titled in a long time. Forms required by Oregon dmv from these states are available online. complete and send in as part of the title process.”

This might be a good price, especially if you already have an extra radiator.

“1957 4 X 4 Willys Jeep pickup, straight 6 cylinder engine. This would be a great restoration vehicle, lots of parts available. The engine starts and runs; it does need a new radiator. I bought it for a desert runner, however, I found a CJ2A don’t need both. $600.00 . Will trade for a trailer big enough for a Jeep CJ. I can be contacted on my cell 602-321-4379, the vehicle is located near Gilbert and Broadway in Mesa.”

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

This is rough, but it has both a PTO Winch and Newgren Hitch.

“You are bidding on a early model Jeep FC 150 parts truck that has a Newgren Company 3 pt. hitch.  Model #BL 4770.  The truck also has a Ramsey bed mounted PTO Winch set up with the pto and lever still installed, including chains to the sprockets.  The truck had this rare combination installed when bought and was used on a farm.  At one point the Jeep had motor trouble, and the truck was left sitting.  The Newgren hitch is still installed and the truck would work great as a “library vehicle” to see how to install it onto your Willys CJ2A, CJ3, FC150, FC170 ,or CJ3B.  The hitch is in rough condition, but the basic parts are there to use, refurbish, or use as a pattern.  The original hydraulic ram and pump were were not installed on the truck when I purchased the Jeep.  You can use a 12 volt pump and ram from Northern Tool, Grainger, etc.  to power the hitch or look for an original.  Some folks have also used the snow plow hydraulic pumps from Willys vehicles that are a little more common.

Please look at the photos carefully (the red cj2a is NOT INCLUDED!) You are getting a good starting point for an ultra rare 3 pt. hitch setup for a Willys Jeep.  The condition is such that you will need to rebuild, refurbish, and add/replace parts. You also get a pto winch with the attachments to bed mount it, the pto attached to the transfer case and the control lever.  The rest of the truck is included, but would only be good for some parts.  The truck is rolling on its own and I can help load on a trailer.

To aid you with restoration, FARMJEEP>COM has an extensive write up on the restoration, installation, and additional parts sourcing of a very similar hitch.  Please look at theses pictures closely.  The condition requires work, but could add remendous value to your Willys or Jeep when installed and refurbished. Still has the original Newgren Comapny tag.”
