The engine, transmission, body and suspension all original. I have the bows for the top but never installed it. It has been converted to 12 volt. Runs great!”

(12/14/2017) This is a neat jeep. It’s a Navy ordered CJ-5. It appears to have a gov plate attached to the dash. It includes a ventilating windshield. Looks like the passenger rear side has been patched.
“1965 Naval Military Jeep is one of 600 made. Most are not running. This jeep was owned by Russell Dees Military Vehicles and I now own it. I just had Knico engines in Moultrie Ga do the rebuild on this 4cyl engine that has warranty. I had Hayman’s Garage Albany Ga put new clutch, brakes, brake lines, alternator, water pump, radiator, hoses, belts and new gas tank and ignition . The body is in good condition with only a spot of surface rust here and there. Tires are almost new . A rare opportunity to own a collectable part of military history.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(11/08/2017) PTO winches front and rear.
“It is a Original 1955 willy jeep Cj5. The box under the passenger side is rusted and one of the front fenders, but other than that the body is in good shape. It will need a new top. The jeep runs, but the brakes and drive train will need to be serviced. It has a PTO with two attachments one was used to run a belt that ran a saw and the other a winch. It has a winch on the front and a brake lock system. Willy’s Hurricane engine 4 cylinder. It is rare to find one of these jeeps unmolested and with a PTO. $4,000”

This might have a Porter & Reed Half Cab. It’s got a bed extender as well. It’s listed as a 1942, but clearly is a CJ-2A.

(11/26/2017) Looks in good shape.
“1957 Jeep Cj6 Willys. Completely stock. Frame off restoration completed before I owned it. The original Dauntless 134 was completely rebuilt about 1000 miles ago. It runs perfect. Everything works. It drives very nicely. Original 3-speed trans, manual drum brakes and manual steering. Paint is in nice condition. The prep on the paint could have been better and it does have bondo in places. However, it looks really clean. It has a winch on the front and a very nicely built roll cage. If you are looking for a stock CJ-6 that hasn’t been too modified and is not $15,000 this is the jeep for you. They only made 12000 of them in 1957. Super rare Jeep. These are 101″ Wheelbase. So much more room inside and ideal wheelbase for rock crawling. Also comes with a Bestop soft top and doors that has never been installed but seems to be missing a few of the tubes needed. We bought this as a project for my son and we are heading a different direction. May be open to trade for a Toyota pickup.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $14,900.
(12/11/2017) This looks in great shape.
“1972 rare Jeep CJ6. This Jeep was a true barn find. This survivor was discovered after 31 plus years in storage. I am the 3rd owner and vehicles history is available.
The Jeep currently has 45820 original miles on the original AMC 304 V8 engine. Work I completed to make it operational: complete tune up, new radiator, new fuel tank, new belts and hoses and a good cleaning. The body and frame are solid with minor imperfections in the paint.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $15,000.
(10/19/2017) Looks like it is a nice restore.
“For sale in Twin Falls, Idaho. Just finished restoring this 1953 Willys CJ 3A Jeep. Frame off. Rebuilt engine, including new pistons, new crank, new fuel pump. All new wiring. Converted to 12 volt. Body sand blasted to bare metal, then primed and painted. Gone through from front to back! New tires, new upholstry, looks good! Drives good. Original odometer shows just over 11,578 miles. Too much work to list here. ”
Roger’s selling this good looking early CJ-6. Contact him at 805.705.5598 or roger@threecreek.com. I bet there aren’t many CJ-6s left with the rare 0-8 King Seeley Speedometer.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $11,500.
(11/24/2017) Looks nice.
“Mid-year 1947, CJ2A for sale, mostly original components, in good condition, runs and drives well, 4WD works, stays in all gears, not fully restored but well maintained and cleaned up for sale. This Willys jeep has a lot of powder coated piece parts, to include all five wheels, bumpers/cross members, front grille, tailgate, windshield frame, driver and passenger seat frames, passenger side tool box, headlight cans and headlight rings, mirrors, windshield latches, footman loops, gas pedal, brake and clutch pedals, and various covers and plates. I’m still finishing up a few detail items such as welting and felt on the radiator shroud; have new air cleaner on order. Asking $14,500 but will consider any reasonable offer (cash offers only – am NOT interested in trades). Additional pictures are available upon request. The vehicle is legally registered and licensed in Alabama. Does not have title but Alabama (and many other states) does not require a title to register/license a vehicle this old.”
Could be worth a look.
“Completely restored and ready to Roll”

UPDATE: I’ve seen this one all over. It’s a scam.
Tim shared this one. He’s concerned the price is too good to be true. I think it is right on the edge. Proceed with caution. After a few searches, I found the same ad in Portland. I suspect this is a scam.
“Runs well, 3 speed transmission with overdrive. Recently painted, interior and convertible top in good condition. 5 new tires with tubes, the bumpers, hood trim and interior dash trim all have been re-chromed.”

I’m not sure why this has a Surrey top and tire cover? I think it detracts from the vehicle.
