“1953 Willys Army Jeep M38A1 in very good condition. Jeep came out of Arizona and was owned by same person since the 70’s. I bought a year ago and gave full tune-up with new plugs, wire, points, condenser, distributor, etc. Runs awesome and starts every time. It has no rust at all and it is an old Jeep so it does have a couple of drips which is to be expected. This vehicle is ready to roll so you can buy and drive. Also has the heater option which is nice. Everything is working. The paint is nice, but this is not the $16,000-$20,000 Restoration that you see out there, but it is a very nice $12,000 Jeep and worth the money.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $14,999.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This “War Eagle” has an owner with some history.
“I purchased this 1942 GPW Ford Army Jeep at a military swap meet in 1995. The previous owner had rebuilt the engine and told me it was very low mileage. I stripped the entire body down to the chassis and had it sand blasted. I primed and repainted the entire Jeep myself with an original Army green color. I installed new brakes, brake shoes, master cylinder, all four wheel cylinders, and a new clutch plate and disc. The transmission was rebuilt, installed a new wiring harness, and had all the seats reupholstered. I had a new top made as well. I purchased new tires at the time but they are slightly worn now. It took me approximately 1 year to rebuild the entire Jeep.

“Four door, FC 170. Short bed with doghouse cover. Has Black out lights.”
That’s a colorful jeep!
“This time capsule Jeep CJ5 comes straight out of the seventies with it’s four-color metal flake custom paint. This is base-coat / clear coat with metal flake and bright metallic that shines beautifully in the sun.
Built using a new all steel (Chrysler Licensed) reproduction body tub on a very nice original chassis; The hood, radiator support and front fenders are also new steel. There is no rust of any kind on the body. The frame is in excellent condition with only minor surface rust and no structural issues that I have found.
The Jeep starts and runs well with no smoke or unusual noises; powered by an original type Dauntless V6 engine and three speed manual transmission. The front axle has Warn locking hubs for highway use. This Jeep has been in storage for a few years and was freshened up to get it running and driving again. The clutch and brakes work well, but the brakes will need some adjustment as it pulls left a bit when braking.
A complete bestop soft top and soft doors are included. Tailgate is not present on the vehicle. Tires are in excellent condition. Original type tail lights, oil bath air cleaner and some miscellaneous parts are also included.”
